    摘要: An optical gate array includes a photodetector, an optical modulator, and a reflecting structure arranged therebetween. The photodetector, the optical modulator, and the reflecting structure are composed of semiconductor materials. The photodetector includes an MQW (Multi Quantum Well). The reflecting structure is constituted by a distributed Bragg reflector formed by alternately stacking semiconductor layers having different refractivities. The photodetector and the optical modulator are arranged to receive light from different directions. The modulation characteristics of the optical modulator are controlled by the intensity of light radiated on the photodetector. The reflecting structure connects the photodetector and the modulator electrically and isolates lights radiated on both parts. A plurality of optical gates, each constituted by the photodetector, the optical modulator, and the reflection structure, are two-dimensionally arranged.

The organic EL device comprises an anode, an organic layer containing a hole-transporting layer, a light-emitting layer, and an electron-transporting layer, and a cathode piled one upon another on a substrate while the hole-transporting layer is disposed between the light-emitting layer and the anode and the electron-transporting layer is disposed between the light-emitting layer and the cathode. The light-emitting layer comprises an aluminum heterocomplex or dimeric complex of deuterated substituted or unsubstituted 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline (Me8HQ-D) in which the hydrogen atoms in the methyl group of substituted or unsubstituted 2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline (Me8HQ) are deuterated as a host material and an organic metal complex containing at least one metal selected from groups 7 to 11 of the periodic table as a guest material.

The light guide plate applies, to a rear surface of the liquid crystal cell, light beams from the light source devices. The light guide plate includes a first light input portion at a first-shorter-side side surface and a second light input portion at a second-shorter-side side surface. The light guide plate includes a flat first surface opposed to the rear surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface.
