摘要: There is provided position error computing means for sampling an error value between a position detecting signal derived from means for detecting the position of a moving body and a position command signal supplied from outside and for computing a position error value on the basis of two or more past values of said error values. There is also provided a position control apparatus in which the magnitude of a gain of a position control loop is changed according to the above described position error value. Further, there is also provided a signal reproducing apparatus or a magnetic signal reproducing apparatus using the above described position control.

摘要: A speed control apparatus in which for sampling features of a speed fluctuation and generating a speed fluctuation correcting signal, an arithmetic operation can be simplified and can be performed by an inexpensive arithmetic and operation unit, thus requiring no expensive arithmetic operation unit. The speed control apparatus is also capable of reducing torque ripples and speed fluctuations quickly even when the load of an object to be controlled is changed.

摘要: A motor has a stator and a rotor, the stator having cores and drive coils which generate magnetic fields for rotating the rotor. The stator also has a yoke surrounding the rotor and the rotor is positioned such that it is closer to one part of the outer periphery of the yoke than another part of the outer periphery of the yoke. Such a motor is particularly suitable for use in a disk drive unit as a spindle motor for rotating the disk. Then an actuator for moving a head may be located adjacent the part of the outer periphery of the yoke which is closest to the rotor. This permits the head to approach closely the axis of rotation of the disk without the spindle motor interferring with the movement of the head. The continuous yoke prevents magnetic flux leakage from the spindle motor interferring with the actuator. The actuator may itself have a yoke integral with the yoke of the spindle motor, and/or other components in common.

摘要: In order to provide a speed control apparatus for a movable equipment having small torque ripples and speed variation, the present invention has a speed control means which comprises a driver for providing a current or a voltage having a magnitude corresponding to the instructed speed, a speed detection circuit for detecting a speed on the basis of a signal from the speed detector and a microcomputer for driving the driver by comparing the speed instruction signal with a speed signal obtained from the speed detection circuit. The microcomputer includes a harmonic wave component detecting means for detecting a harmonic wave component contained in a speed variation mode which is obtained from the speed detection circuit and has a function of making the gain of a speed control system variable by the harmonic wave component detected by the harmonic wave component detecting means.

摘要: A linear actuator for e.g. a disk drive has a fixed member and a movable member. One of those members carries at least one track of permanent magnets extending in the direction in which the movable member is to move, with adjacent permanent magnets having alternate magnetic polarity. The other member has first and second drive parts, each having at least one pair of opposing sets of teeth. The moveable member or each track passes between those teeth. Each pair of teeth is associated with a corresponding drive coil giving the teeth a magnetic polarity so that there is a magnetic alignment between a polarity of the teeth and the permanent magnets. The drive parts are arranged so that, for any given relative position of the first and second members, the magnetic alignment of the teeth of one drive part is out of phase with the magnetic alignment of the teeth of the other part. In order to ensure that the magnetic alignments are out of phase, there may be a physical displacement between the teeth of the two drive parts. This displacement may be (m.+-.1/2).multidot.T.sub.p, where m is an integer and T.sub.p is the teeth pitch. This gives a phase displacement of 180.degree.. Alternatively, the drive parts may be aligned, and two tracks of permanent magnets be provided with the magnets thereof having opposite polarity for a given track position, or the drive current to the drive coils may be controlled to be out of phase.

The rotor is composed of a metallic material having ferromagnetic parts and non-magnetic parts as a member and has a magnetic barrier area composed of the slit portion for blocking the bypath magnetic path in the periphery of the rotor and the non-magnetic parts. The rotary machine that produced torque can be increased sufficiently and the mechanical strength during high-speed running is improved and an electrical vehicle using it.

摘要: A vehicle control unit includes interface software memory means storing an interface software program for connecting an application software program with an OS (operating system) in an internal ROM, a CPU (central processing unit) for performing computation for the application software program and the interface software program, a RAM (erasable memory) storing data such as the result of computation, an I/O unit for extending the control unit, and extending means for communicating memory data through a bus or a LAN. A single-chip micro-computer used in vehicle control permits an increase in input/output points or the addition of functionality, in which case an application software program can continue to be used simply by rewriting the interface software program, without further remanufacturing of the core unit.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a control unit for vehicle where increase in number of input/output and upgrading of function can easily be performed and, in addition to this, changing of a program in a control unit can easily be performed even when a single-chip micro-computer is used. In order to cope with an increase in input/output points and addition of function, a control unit is constructed such as to comprise interface software memory means storing an interface software program for connecting an application software program with an OS (operating system) in an internal ROM, a CPU (central processing unit) for performing computation of the application software program and the interface software program, a RAM (erasable memory) storing data such as the result of computation, an I/O unit for extending the control unit, and extending means for communicating memory data through a bus or a LAN. A single-chip micro-computer used in vehicle control can easily cope with increase in input/output points or addition of function, and an application software program can continuously be used only by rewriting an interface software program, and further re-manufacturing of a core unit is unnecessary. Therefore, development of a control unit including programs becomes easy.

摘要: A vehicle which includes a plurality of peripheral systems has a plurality of control units which transmit data to each other via a local area network, and which control the peripheral systems in response to sensor signals received from vehicle operating parameter sensors. A first control unit has a memory which stores a first interface software program which receives input signals from sensors and processes such signals for controlling at least one peripheral system of the vehicle, by means of an application software program and first and second interface software programs. A second control unit has a memory which stores an application software program for processing input signals for controlling at least one other peripheral system of the vehicle via a third interface software program. The second control unit receives input data from the first control unit via the local area network.
