摘要： A thermosetting polymer material capable of being used in powder coatings. The thermosetting polymer material includes at least one hydroxyl functional aliphatic polycarbonates that is formulated and crosslinked with isocyanates to yield a thermoset organic coating material. These materials provide improved weatherability as compared to prior art powder coating materials while also being less expensive than prior art materials utilizing fluorinated polymers.

The outer coating comprising the polyamic acid may be subjected to curing to form a polyetherimide coating. Also provided are methods for making the coated fiber wherein the coated fiber comprises an inner fiber comprising an aramid and an outer coating comprising a polyamic acid or a polyetherimide.

摘要： Rotor and stator assemblies that utilize magnetic bearings for supporting the rotor shaft during operation can be suitably used in corrosive environments, such as sour gas. The rotor and stator assemblies include NACE compliant magnetic bearing arrangements for sour gas applications. In one embodiment, a rotor shaft assembly for a magnetic bearing arrangement comprises a rotor shaft formed of a ferromagnetic material comprising a plurality of rotor laminations disposed on the rotor shaft; and a barrier layer formed on selected exposed surfaces of the rotor shaft, wherein the barrier layer is effective to resist corrosion relative to the surface without the barrier layer.

摘要： A curable composition includes a functionalized poly(arylene ether), an olefinically unsaturated monomer, about 0.2 to about 5 parts by weight of a curing initiator per 100 parts by weight total of the functionalized poly(arylene ether) and the olefinically unsaturated monomer, and about 0.005 to about 1 part by weight of a curing inhibitor per 100 parts by weight total of the functionalized poly(arylene ether) and the olefinically unsaturated monomer. The weight ratio of the curing initiator to the curing inhibitor is about 1.2:1 to about 50:1. The composition provides improved and reproducible flow during the early stages of molding without compromising curing time. The composition is useful for preparing plastic-packaged electronic devices.

Additionally, when the energy field contacts the storage media, the energy field is incident upon the data layer before it could be incident upon the substrate.
