摘要: Anti-IL-17 antibodies are identified that are characterized as having a high affinity and slow off rate for human IL-17. The antibodies of the invention may be chimeric, humanized or fully human antibodies, immunoconjugates of the antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof. The antibodies of the invention are useful in particular for treating autoimmune, inflammatory, cell proliferative and developmental disorders.

摘要: The present invention relates to novel muteins of human fibroblast growth factor 21 with reduced deamidation compared to wild-type human FGF-21. Both protein and the respective encoding nucleic acid species are disclosed. The invention also embodies vectors and host cells for the propagation of said nucleic acid sequences and the production of said muteins. 摘要: A stressed film is formed on a substrate. The substrate is placed in a process zone and a plasma is formed of a process gas provided in the process zone, the process gas having silicon-containing gas and nitrogen-containing gas. A diluent gas such as nitrogen can also be added. The as-deposited stressed material can be exposed to ultraviolet radiation or electron beams to increase the stress value of the deposited material. In addition or in the alternative, a nitrogen plasma treatment can be used to increase the stress value of the material during deposition. Pulsed plasma methods to deposit stressed materials are also described.

摘要: A method of indirect emission by nano-materials includes providing an infrared up-conversion phosphor 1 (weight ratio) and a long-wave ultraviolet phosphor 0.01-10 (weight ratio); treating both surfaces of the infrared up-conversion phosphor and the long-wave ultraviolet phosphor; mixing the infrared up-conversion phosphor and the long-wave ultraviolet phosphor; exciting the infrared up-conversion phosphor by a near-infrared laser with a wavelength of 980 mn to emit blue light as a secondary excitation lightsource; exciting the long-wave ultraviolet phosphor by the blue light to emit a visible light. Biological reactions can be conveniently detected by detecting the visible light.

摘要: A microelectrode sensing device includes a substrate and an array of microelectrode sensors. Each sensor includes a first conductive layer that at least partially conducts electricity. The first conductive layer is formed above the substrate and patterned to include a recording electrode that measures electrical activities of target cells. Each sensor also includes a second conductive layer that at least partially conducts electricity. The second conductive layer is elevated above the first layer and patterned to include multiple positioning electrodes arranged to define a sensing region above the recording electrode. The positioning electrodes are designed to generate an electric field pattern in the sensing region to move and confine the target cells to a sub-region of the sensing region that at least partially overlaps the recording electrode.

摘要: Methods are provided for processing a substrate for depositing an adhesion layer having a low dielectric constant between two low k dielectric layers. In one aspect, the invention provides a method for processing a substrate including introducing an organosilicon compound and an oxidizing gas at a first ratio of organosilicon compound to oxidizing gas into the processing chamber, generating a plasma of the oxidizing gas and the organosilicon compound to form an initiation layer on a barrier layer comprising at least silicon and carbon, introducing the organosilicon compound and the oxidizing gas at a second ratio of organosilicon compound to oxidizing gas greater than the first ratio into the processing chamber, and depositing a first dielectric layer adjacent the dielectric initiation layer.
