    摘要: A damper between coaxial input and output members in the composite flywheel of a motor vehicle has a pair of elongated arcuate coil springs which alternate with the radially outwardly extending arms of a flange-like component. The arms have first sides which stress the adjacent first end convolutions of the springs during rotation of the two members relative to each other in a first direction (e.g., when the engine drives the wheels), and second sides which stress the adjacent second end convolutions of the springs during rotation of the two members relative to each other in a second direction (e.g., when the vehicle is coasting). At least one side of at least one arm is different from at least one other side; for example, the at least one side can have one or more projections or a recess for the radially outermost part of the adjacent end convolution.

    摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing insulating construction profiles having two metal profiles spaced from each other to define a channel filled with an insulating compound includes a supporting table to support a plurality of metal strands successively positioned in advanced movement along the table by transport rollers. Each strand includes a pair of metal profiles spaced from each other and connected with a temporary bridging strip in their advancing path. A first pouring device is positioned in the path of the advancing profiles to fill an insulating material into the channel between two metal profiles in each strand to form a first insulating core and a second pouring device is provided to introduce insulating material into the same channel to form a second insulating core. Between the two pouring devices a strip supply roll, a guide arrangement and a pressure roller are arranged to apply a separating strip between the two insulating cores which is vertically spaced from the temporary bridging strip. A cutting arrangement is provided to remove the temporary bridging strip.

    摘要: The invention relates to a composition that comprises a thermoplastic or elastomeric polymeric substrate (A) and an antistatic mixture (B) in the form of contiguous fibers, which mixture comprises (b1) an organic polymeric material that is fibrous or forms fibers on mixing and is not soluble in the thermoplastic or elastomeric polymeric substrate (A); (b2) a polymer or copolymer capable of ion conduction that has blocks for complexing or solvating a salt of an inorganic or low-molecular-weight organic protonic acid (b3) and has a better compatibility with the organic polymer (b1) that is fibrous or forms fibers on mixing than with the polymeric organic substrate (A); and (b3) a salt of an inorganic or low-molecular-weight organic protonic acid such as NaClO.sub.4 or K P F.sub.6 that has been complexed or solvated in the polymer or copolymer (b2). The invention relates also to the antistatic mixture (B) as such, to its use in rendering polymers antistatic and to a process for the preparation of antistatic thermoplastic or elastomeric polymeric substrates.
