    摘要: A non-aqueous secondary battery having an electrode group and a non-aqueous electrolytic solution, characterized in that: (1) the electrode group is contained in a casing made of a sheet having a resin layer with a thickness of 0.5 mm or less, (2) the non-aqueous solvent contains γ-butyrolactone, ethylene carbonate, at least one vinylene carbonate compound and at least one vinylethylene carbonate compound, (3) the amounts of the vinylene carbonate compound, the vinylethylene carbonate compound and sum total of both are, respectively, 0.01 to 5% by weight, 0.01 to 5% by weight and 0.02 to 6% by weight, based on the total weight of the non-aqueous solvent, and (4) the amounts of the γ-butyrolactone and the ethylene carbonate are, respectively, 50% by volume or more and 10% by volume or more, based on the total volume of the non-aqueous solvent.

    摘要: A fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly includes a fuel electrode, an air electrode and an electrolyte membrane interposed between the fuel electrode and the air electrode, a fuel supply mechanism disposed on the air electrode side of the membrane electrode assembly to supply fuel to the fuel electrode, and a humidification layer disposed on the air electrode side of the membrane electrode assembly to be impregnated with water produced in the air electrode. The humidification layer include a first humidification section disposed opposite to a high-temperature area of an air electrode and a second humidification section disposed opposite to a low-temperature area of the air electrode when generating electricity. The second humidification section is so configured that water vapor is released into air therefrom more easily than from the first humidification section in the membrane electrode assembly.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a fuel cell including: a membrane electrode assembly 10 having an electrolyte membrane 17 sandwiched by a fuel electrode 13 and an air electrode 16; a fuel supply part 43 disposed on the fuel electrode side of the membrane electrode assembly to supply a fuel to the fuel electrode 13; a fuel storage part 41 storing the fuel; and a fuel channel 44 leading the fuel stored in the fuel storage part to the fuel supply part. Since a fuel cell can generate electricity for a long time by being continuously supplied with a fuel, the fuel cell serves as a system advantageous as a power source of a portable electronic device such as a portable phone if it can be made compact. Here, if a user keeps touching a high-temperature portion of the fuel cell, he/she may suffer from low-temperature burn or the like, and therefore, some measure such as providing a heat insulator is necessary, but sufficient heat insulation results in excessively large weight and volume, which leads to a problem that the fuel cell is not suitable as a power source of a portable electronic device. The present invention solves the above problem by the structure in which the fuel channel 44 in the fuel cell is formed as a channel heating the fuel by heat generated in the air electrode and leading the heated fuel to the fuel supply part.
