摘要: A system for navigating a host vehicle may include a at least one processing device. The at least one processing device may be programmed to receive, from an image capture device, at least one image representative of an environment of the host vehicle. The at least one processing device may also be programmed to analyze the at least one image to identify an object in the environment of the host vehicle. The at least one processing device may also be programmed to determine a location of the host vehicle. The at least one processing device may also be programmed to receive map information associated with the determined location of the host vehicle, wherein the map information includes elevation information associated with the environment of the host vehicle. The at least one processing device may also be programmed to determine a distance from the host vehicle to the object based on at least the elevation information. The at least one processing device may further be programmed to determine a navigational action for the host vehicle based on the determined distance.

摘要: A system for mapping a lane mark for use in autonomous vehicle navigation is provided. The system includes at least one processor programmed to receive two or more location identifiers associated with a detected lane mark, associate the detected lane mark with a corresponding road segment, update an autonomous vehicle road navigation model relative to the corresponding road segment based on the two or more location identifiers associated with the detected lane mark, and distribute the updated autonomous vehicle road navigation model to a plurality of autonomous vehicles.

摘要: A computing device configured to: obtain images representative of an environment of a host vehicle, the host vehicle traveling on a roadway; detect, from the images, a mark located on the roadway; identify, from the images, points corresponding to the mark on the roadway; identify the mark as a type of roadway marking, corresponding to the identified points, the type of roadway marking selected from multiple types of roadway markings; determine a position of the mark on the roadway relative to the host vehicle, using the identified points corresponding to the mark; and determine a trajectory to navigate the host vehicle on the roadway, based on the position of the mark within the roadway and the type of roadway marking.

摘要: A system for identifying features of a roadway traversed by a host vehicle may include at least one processor programmed to: receive a plurality of images representative of an environment of the host vehicle; recognize in the plurality of images a presence of a road feature associated with the roadway; determine a location of a first point associated with the road feature relative to a curve representative of a path of travel of the host vehicle; determine a location of a second point associated with the road feature relative to the curve; and cause transmission to a server remotely located from the host vehicle of a representation of a series of points associated with locations along the road feature. The second point may be spaced apart from the first point, and the series of points may include at least the first point and the second point.

In an embodiment, a processing device may be configured to receive at least one image captured by an image capture device, the at least one image being representative of an enviromnent of the host vehicle; analyze the at least one image to identify an object in the environment of the host vehicle; determine a location of the host vehicle; receive map information associated with the determined location of the host vehicle, wherein the map information includes lane width information associated with a road in the environment of the host vehicle; determine a distance from the host vehicle to the object based on at least the lane width information; and determine a navigational action for the host vehicle based on the determined distance.

摘要: A system for correlating drive information from multiple road segments is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes memory and a processor configured to receive drive information from vehicles that traversed a first road segment and vehicles that traversed a second road segment. The processor is configured to correlate the drive information from the vehicles to provide a first road model segment representative of the first road segment and a second road model segment representative of the second road segment. The processor correlates the first road model segment with the second road model segment to provide a correlated road segment model if a drivable distance between a first point associated with the first road segment and a second point associated with the second road segment is less than or equal to a predetermined distance threshold, and stores the correlated road segment model as part of a sparse navigational map.
