摘要: A method of manufacturing a light emitting element includes: providing a first light emitting part and a second light emitting part, the first light emitting part comprising a first base member and a first semiconductor layered body, the second light emitting part comprising a second base member and a second semiconductor layered body; bonding the first and second light emitting parts to each other such that the first base member and the second base member are disposed between the first semiconductor layered body and the second semiconductor layered body; disposing a light reflecting member to cover the bonded first and second light emitting parts; removing a portion of the light reflecting member to expose surfaces of the first and second base members; and disposing a wavelength conversion member on the exposed surface of the first base member and the exposed surface of the second base member.

摘要: A light emitting device includes light emitting elements, light-transmissive members, a covering member, at least one first protrusion, and two second protrusions. The light emitting elements are aligned in a first direction. The light-transmissive members are respectively disposed on upper surfaces of the light emitting elements. The covering member includes at least one first covering portion and two second covering portions. The at least one first covering portion is arranged between adjacent ones of the light-transmissive members, and the second covering portions are arranged at distal ends of the light emitting device in the first direction with the light-transmissive members being arranged between the second covering portions. The at least one first protrusion is arranged on an upper surface of the at least one first covering portion and being spaced apart from the light-transmissive members. The second protrusions respectively arranged on upper surfaces of the second covering portions.

摘要: A light emitting device is provided. The light emitting device includes a light emitting element, which emits blue light, and a light transmissive member having a first principal face bonded to the light emitting element and a second principal face opposite the first principal face. The light transmissive member has a light transmissive base material and wavelength conversion substances, which are contained in the base material and which absorb the light from the light emitting element and emit light. The wavelength conversion substances are localized in the base material towards the first principal face, and include a first phosphor which emits green to yellow light and a second phosphor which emits red light. The first phosphor is more localized towards the first principal face than the second phosphor. The second phosphor is a manganese-activated fluoride phosphor.
