    摘要： In changing or otherwise handling sequential videotex codes composed of geometric codes representing individual image areas as respective geometric drawings and also characteristic codes representing attributes of the geometric drawings, the order of transmission of the geometric codes and characteristic codes is supervised on an order table and a characteristic code table is provided for supervising the characteristic codes, with correction or rearranging of the videotex code data being effected on these tables. In the case where the videotex codes are to represent an input color image, a histogram of the frequencies of occurrence of all colors represented by color data for each input color image is produced and a predetermined relatively small number n of colors having the highest frequencies of occurrence, either in the histogram as a whole, or in divisions of the histogram, are selected and each image area has assigned thereto color data representing the one of the n selected colors closest to the actual color of the image area in question.

    摘要： A page turning effect generating apparatus for video signals is provided with a memory for storing a video signal, an output switch for switching incoming video signal and a memory output video signal in accordance with a switching control signal, and a control signal generator including a circuit for generating the switching control signal and a circuit for generating a read address to be supplied to the memory, wherein the read address generating circuit includes a convertor for non-linearly converting a first vector which represents one of the vector components of a vector expressing a scanning point of a display image from an origin of a modification, and a generator for generating a final vector by synthesizing the non-linearly converted first vector and a second vector which represents another of the vector components of the vector, the final vector indicating the read address to be supplied to the memory.

    摘要： A special effect generator is arranged such that read address calculations for special effect processing of an original video image are limited only to the region within which the processed video image is located on the display screen, so that calculations of read addresses are simplified. The coordinates and image rotation information for several different video special effects are stored in a read-only-memory and are used to limit the address generation operation based on the coordinate boundaries of the image on the video screen, so that only those addresses actually required for the special effect are calculated.

    摘要： The disclosed image capture device is provided with: an image capture unit which implements image capture; a detection unit which detects start-up related operations relating to the start-up of image capture functions; and a control unit which controls the image capture unit. When the detection unit detects start-up related operations, the control unit sends a first start-up instruction to the image capture unit, and then, within a specified timing, implements at least part of an end processing for functions being started-up which are not image capture functions. Upon receiving the first activation instruction, the image capture unit implements a first start-up processing which is one part of a start-up processing for the image capture unit, and thus a speculative state is entered.
