    摘要： In order to be able to use the combination of a commercially available type of television receiver (1) with a commercially available type of video tape recorder (3) or video disk recorder, additionally also as a home computer, a data and address bus (32) is provided for additionally in the television receiver, to which there are connected a processor module 30, a computer module (33), a data storage (34), and a character generator (35). A computer control circuit (41) switches the equipment combination into a computer operational state in which the deflection circuit (40) and the video signal amplifier circuit (6) for the picture tube (7), are connected to the output of the character generator, and the recording and reproducing lines (21) of the video tape or video disk recorder are connected via a code converter (42) to the data and address bus (32). The user program (44) as selected by the user with the aid of a keyboard (10) or a light pen (26), is stored from the video tape (43) or the video disk into the data storage. The conversational operation (dialogue) with the user is effected during the execution of the selected user program, via the screen (36) of the television receiver and the keyboard (10) or the light pen (26). With the aid of an additional circuit arrangement in the television receiver, which is substantially smaller than an additional home computer would be, the much used consumer electronics equipment combination is given a full or adequate and highly flexible home computer function.

    摘要： Directly heated rotary drums are used in the drying of pourable goods such as wood chips or strands. Drums are provided with built-in fixtures such as cross fixtures, in order to ensure good heat transmission from the drying gas to the goods. The invention comprises a design for a rotary drum (4) which enables good transmission of drying gas to the goods and which is cheap to produce and assemble in comparison with cross fixtures. According to the invention the built-in fixtures in the rotary drum (4) extend radially in the direction of the middle of the drum, starting from the perimeter, over an area of 60 to 85% of the radius of the rotary drum (4), form at least two pockets, and run, apart from the area close to the perimeter, substantially in the direction of rotation (25), in front of the radial starting from their point of attachment. These radially shaped built-in fixtures enable constant distribution of the goods over the cross-section and are substantially cheaper to manufacture and assemble.

    摘要： A leading bung seal (BS1) in a magazine (4) is picked up by a bung seal transfer clamp (8) and is positioned between a bung seal receptacle (6) and a bung seal transfer device (10), which are axially aligned. A bung seal expansion pin (18) is advanced to drive the leading bung seal (BS1) into the bung seal receptacle (6), to force it against a resilient grommet (42) therein, and to extend through the bung seal (BS1) so as to expand it. A bung seal expansion sleeve (14) surrounding the expansion pin (18) is then advanced further to expand the bung seal (BS1) and the pin (18) is withdrawn leaving the bung seal (BS1) secured to the expansion sleeve (14) by its own resilience. A lead (L) is then inserted into the expansion sleeve (14), and the expansion sleeve (14) is then withdrawn, leaving the seal (BS1) secured to the lead (L), by its own resilience, after which the bung seal receptacle (6) is opened and the lead (L) with the bung seal (BS1) thereon is removed to a station at which an electrical terminal is crimped to the lead (L) and to the bung seal (BS1).

    摘要： The invention provides for the digital control of the operating functions in a radio or T.V. receiver using sensor electrodes in place of mechanical control devices. A sensor control panel is provided for directly setting an electronic stepping circuit to a desired condition. The electronic stepping circuit is particularly adaptable for receiving sequential remote control signals and thereby greatly reduces the cost of adapting a receiver for remote control operation.
