摘要: A microwave oven 10 including a main body 1 in which a heating chamber 2 is installed, a microwave supplying unit 3 installed at an inner portion of the main body 1 for heating a food incorporated in the heating chamber 2 by supplying microwave at a predetermined output, an operation panel 4 (input operating unit) for inputting cooking output information and cooking time information of the food, a control unit 6 for comparing the cooking output information inputted by the operation panel 4 with the predetermined output, correcting the inputted cooking time information in accordance with a result of the comparison and instructing to drive the microwave supplying unit 3 based on corrected cooking time obtained by the correction, wherein the control unit 6 includes buzzer 48 (information supplying means) for successively supplying the cooking time information inputted by the operation panel 4 and the corrected cooking time and supplying, after having supplied the cooking time information, information that the corrected cooking time is being supplied.

摘要: A microwave oven includes a heating chamber containing a magnetron for heating and cooking food S, a body with a door provided in front of the heating chamber, and a control circuitry provided on the body for controlling driving of the magnetron. The control circuitry includes a switch key for switching either to a cooking time input mode for setting and inputting time period for driving magnetron or to an optional timer input mode for setting and inputting time period for an optional timer, input ten keys for inputting the time period of the set input mode, a timer body for separately counting time periods of respective input modes input by the ten keys, a display portion for displaying time count of either one of the input modes switched by the switch key, and a start key for starting time count for the input time period on display portion. When the operation is switched to the optional timer input mode by switch key 22 and an input of the time period for the optional timer is given through ten keys, time count of the time period for the optional timer starts after a prescribed time period, without waiting for an input to start time count from the start key.

摘要: A microwave oven includes electronic components such as a high voltage transformer and a high voltage capacitor constituting a control circuit. These components are provided on a bottom panel of the microwave oven. A filter is fit under the bottom panel of the microwave oven. By removing the filter, the bottom panel can be detached from the main body frame. By detaching the bottom panel from the main body frame, the electronic components such as the high voltage transformer and the high voltage capacitor can be removed from the main body of the microwave oven while the microwave oven is still mounted at a high position. A cooking appliance that can be easily handled is provided.

An infrared sensor includes 25 infrared detection elements each having a field of view. Since the 25 infrared detection elements are arranged, five by five in directions Y and Z, on the heating chamber's bottom plate there are projected a total of 25 fields of view, five by five in directions Y and X. Thus the bottom plate has any area thereof covered by one of the 25 fields of view.
