摘要: System and techniques for information centric network (ICN) mobility management are described herein. A packet may be received, at a first network node positioned between a subscriber and a publisher of an ICN, for a second network node. Movement metrics for the second network node may also be received. The packet may then be transmitted to a third network node—selected from a plurality of network nodes based on the movement metrics—for delivery to the second network node.

摘要: System and techniques for publisher control in an information centric network (ICN) are described herein. Named data criteria to identify data for a workload may be constructed. A discriminator for potential publishers of the data may be constructed. An interest packet may be transmitted based on the named data criteria and the discriminator and a response to the interest packet received from one of the potential publishers.

摘要: Systems and techniques for information centric network (ICN) emergency data collection are described herein. For example, an event coverage area may be measured. An interest packet may be transmitted to map nodes within the coverage area. In an example, the interest packet specifies a group prefix. A group of nodes that respond to the interest packet may be selected as event detecting nodes. Then, an event subscription interest packet may be transmitted to the event-detecting nodes.

A device of an ICN can include a content store including published content and attributes of the published content stored thereon, the attributes including at least two of a device from which the content originated attribute, a lineage attribute, and a service level agreement attribute, and content processing circuitry coupled to the content store, the content processing circuitry configured to manage the published content based on the attributes.

摘要: Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for interfacing between a host-oriented network (HON) and an information-centric network (ICN). A device can include a first interface to couple to a host-oriented network (HON), a second interface to couple to an information-centric network (ICN), a memory including data stored thereon mapping named data in the ICN to a respective host in the HON, and content processing circuitry to receive an interest packet or content packet from the ICN through the first interface, produce a corresponding HON packet based on the mapping in the memory, and provide the HON packet to the HON through the second interface.

摘要: Generally discussed herein are systems, devices, and methods for routing interests and/or content in an information centric network. A router can include a memory and routing circuitry coupled to the memory, the routing circuitry configured to receive a packet, receive one or more attributes including at least one of (1) a network attribute, (2) a platform attribute, and (3) a content attribute, determine which neighbor node is to receive the packet next based on the received one or more attributes, and forward the packet to the determined neighbor node.

摘要: A technology for a user equipment (UE) in a multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) heterogeneous network (HetNet) that is operable to provide node-selection measurement information to a central controller. Node-selection measurement information can be determined at the UE for a plurality of nodes in the multi-RAT HetNet. The node-selection measurement information can be communicated from the UE to the central controller. A multi-RAT HetNet node grouping assignment can be receive for the UE from the central controller based on the node-selection measurement information.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA), and method of communication are generally described herein. The AP may perform channel sensing in a first channel of a first frequency band and a second channel of a second frequency band to obtain access for transmission of a physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) that comprises multiple subframes. The transmission of the PPDU may be configurable to use a multi-band layer-1 aggregation of the first and second channels. While the second channel is unavailable, the AP may transmit one or more subframes on the first channel without usage of the multi-band layer-1 aggregation. When it is determined that the second channel has become available, the AP may switch to synchronized transmission of the subframes on the first and second channels in accordance with the multi-band layer-1 aggregation.

摘要: Technology is discussed for allowing a wireless mobile device, such as a User Equipment (UE), to coordinate with a Radio Access Network, such as an Evolved-Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN), to tear down a power intensive messaging connection, such as a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection, to met needs of both the UE and the E-UTRAN. The UE can initiate the tear down process based on information at the UE about the potential need of the UE for the RRC connection and/or the state of the UE's battery charge. The E-UTRAN can then determine whether to grant the request based on the potential overhead involved. The determination can be important to the E-UTRAN because of the large overhead associated with frequent disconnection and re-establishment of the RRC connection. Upon receipt of an affirmative response, the UE can tear down the RRC connection to save battery power.
