    摘要: A transmission control device according to the present invention comprises a main transmission having a torque converting device provided with a direct clutch for effecting engagement and disengagement of the input member with output member of a torque converting portion; a sub transmission having a speed change mechanism; a drive-mode detecting means for detecting the drive mode of the speed change mechanism of the sub transmission; and a controller for controlling the lock-up characteristics of the direct clutch by means of the output of the drive mode detecting means.The transmission control device is capable of setting the lock-up characteristics of the direct clutch in accordance with the speed mode of the sub transmission by effecting a change-over of the lock-up characteristics of the direct clutch of the torque converting device on the basis of the output of the drive-mode detecting means for detecting the speed mode of the sub transmission, so that it is possible to optimize the power performance, operating performance, and fuel consumption in accordance with the speed mode of the sub transmission.

    摘要: A transmission control device in accordance with the present invention for controlling a transmission system which is composed of a main transmission and a sub transmission, has a first rotational speed detector which is disposed on the input side of the sub transmission and a second rotational speed detector which is disposed on the output side of the sub transmission, and is characterized in that one rotational speed detector is employed while the sub transmission is in a speed changing state and the other rotational speed detector is employed while the sub transmission is not in a speed changing state, thereby performing system control.The transmission control device which has the above described construction is equipped with the first rotational speed detector for detecting the rotational speed output of the main transmission (the rotational speed input of the sub transmission) and the second rotational speed detector for detecting the rotational speed of the output shaft of the sub transmission, whereby the speed range of one transmission is capable of being positively controlled even while the other transmission is in a speed changing state.

    摘要: The transmission control device of the present invention comprises a main transmission and a sub transmission and has a first hydraulic switching device which is controlled by automatic operation for setting the shift range of the sub transmission and a second hydraulic switching device which controls the hydraulic pressure produced by the first hydraulic switching device, prohibits any speed change of the shift range, and controls other functions of the sub transmission. By the above-described structure, the transmission control device of the present invention is able to prohibit speed changes in the shift range and to control other functions of the sub transmission regardless of the automatic operation of the sub transmission, because the second hydraulic switching device can control the hydraulic pressure produced by the first hydraulic switching device even if the shift mechanism of the sub transmission is being operated by the first hydraulic switching device.

    摘要: A transmission control system for controlling a transmission. The system has a main transmission with a speed changing mechanism and an output shaft, a substransmission connected to the output shaft, and a control system for receiving outputs from a number of sensors which sense the running state of the vehicle. The control system itself has two outputs, there being two separate hydraulic controls connected to the two system outputs, respectively. The two hydraulic controls control the speed changing mechanisms of the main and subtransmissions, respectively. Also provided is a hydraulic pressure source which supplies a working fluid to the two hydraulic controls. The control system determines whether the main and subtransmissions are in a transient period of the speed changing operation and, as long as one of the two transmissions is in the transient period, inhibits the speed changing operation of the other transmission.
