摘要： A shock absorbing bumper adaptable for mounting onto the front and rear of a vehicle such as an automobile, the bumper comprising an elastic external member having sheathed therein a flexible core material and a decorative facing base provided on the front side of the external member. An elastic facing base having formed on its front side the elastic decorative facing is provided on its rear side with a plurality of hooks which fit into the corresponding holes formed in bottom portion of the recession of the external member and are engaged therein in such a way that they overhang their undercuts towards at least three ways to the edge of said corresponding holes.

摘要： Auto parts prepared from polyurethane are manufactured by a process comprising:(a) preparing a polyol component by blending a stabilizer combination of (A) nickel dibutyldithio carbamate with (B) N-mono- or dimethylphenyl-N'-mono- or dimethylphenylphenylenediamine and/or (C) N,N'-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine with a polyol and carbon black;(b) reacting said polyol component with a polyisocyanate: and(c) molding said reacted mass.

摘要： A shock absorbing bumper adaptable for mounting onto the front and rear of a vehicle such as an automobile, the bumper comprising an elastic external member having sheathed therein a flexible core material and a decorative facing provided on the front side of the external member. An elastic facing base having formed on its front side the elastic decorative facing is provided on its rear side with a hook or hooks which fit into the corresponding slits formed in the front portion of the external member and are engaged therein in such a way that they overhang the edges of the slits while the rims of the facing base fit in the lateral notches also formed in the external member.

摘要： A shock absorbing bumper adapted for mounting on the front and rear ends of a vehicle such as an automobile, comprising an elastic external guard member having sheathed therein a shock absorbing flexible core member and a separately molded elastic decorative facing base provided on the front surface of the external guard member. The elastic facing base is integrally secured to a horizontal recession in the surface of the external guard member by inserting claws at both edges of the facing base into the corresponding holes formed along both upper and lower edges of the recession.

摘要： Elastic metallized decorative moldings are disclosed composed of a modified polyurethane resin as a substrate coated on the surface thereof with a metallized layer, the polyurethane resin comprising 50-95 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyurethane resin incorporated with 5-50 parts by weight of an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin comprised of at least 75% by weight of an acrylonitrile-styrene component and not more than 25% by weight of a butadiene component. Such elastic metallized decorative moldings are useful as impact-absorbing materials with beautiful appearance for various structures, especially as bumper moldings for motor vehicles.

摘要： A polypropylene composition useful for producing a shaped article, for example, a bumper, having excellent rigidity, resistance to mechanical impact at a low temperature and superior lacquer-bonding property and appearance, comprises:(A) 40% to 75% by weight of at least one crystalline ethylene-propylene block copolymer in which the content of the polymerized ethylene is in the range of from 5% to 10% by weight, in which the polypropylene component has a fraction thereof insoluble in boiling n-heptane, in an amount of 97% or more, in which a fraction of the block copolymer soluble in p-xylene at room temperature, has an intrinsic viscosity of from 2.5 to 4 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C. and which has a melt flow index of from 11 to 70;(B) 20% to 40% by weight of at least one amorphous ethylene-propylene copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of from 1.0 to 2.0 determined in decahydronaphthalene at a temperature of 135.degree. C., and a Mooney viscosity ML.sub.1+4 of from 5 to 40 determined at a temperature of 100.degree. C.; and(C) 5% to 20% by weight of talc in the form of fine particles having an average size of from 0.1 to 5 microns.
