    摘要： A polymer composition comprising a urethane having terminal unsaturation and a terminal carboxyl group and which is capable of further free radical polymerization has been synthesized. This polymer can be a liquid or a solid depending on the molecular weight and backbone of the polymer. This polymer as a liquid has been found to be very useful in producing printed circuit boards by photo resist processes.

    摘要： An aqueous dispersion comprising at least one copolymer, the copolymer being preparable by initially charging an aqueous dispersion of at least one polyurethane, and then polymerizing a mixture of olefinically unsaturated monomers in the presence of the polyurethane, where a water-soluble initiator is used, the metered addition of the olefinically unsaturated monomers is effected in such a way that a concentration of 6.0% by weight, based on the total amount of olefinically unsaturated monomers, in the reaction solution is not exceeded over the entire duration of the reaction, and the mixture of the olefinically unsaturated monomers comprises at least one polyolefinically unsaturated monomer. The invention further relates to the use of the aqueous dispersion for production of coating materials, to a process for producing the aqueous dispersion, to a basecoat comprising the aqueous dispersion, and to the use of the basecoat for coating of automobile bodies and/or parts for installation on automobile bodies.

    摘要： Cathodically depositable, aqueous coating compositions comprising the reaction product of (A) diene polymers containing free hydroxyl groups with a hydroxyl number of at least 40 mg KOH/g and an average maximum molecular weight of 4000; and (B) a compound having an average of from about 0.8 to 1.5 free isocyanate groups and at least one basic aliphatically bound nitrogen atom. Optionally, there can be included in the reaction product a compound having from about 0.8 to 1.5 free isocyanate groups and from 1 to 3 ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. The coating compositions cure at relatively low temperatures and relatively short curing times to provide films having excellent resistance to water, chemicals, and corrosion.
