    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a power connector which comprises an insulative housing and a terminal. The insulative housing defines a terminal receiving groove therein and comprises a stopping wall. The terminal is positioned in the terminal receiving groove and comprises a mating portion, a stopping portion and a wire connecting portion. The stopping portion abuts against the stopping wall and comprises a first horizontal portion and a second horizontal portion. The first horizontal portion comprises a first front end edge. The second horizontal portion comprises a second front end edge. A portion of a front end of the first horizontal portion and a portion of a front end of the second horizontal portion are cut off, therefore when the terminal clamps the wire, the first front end edge and the second front end edge do not splay forwardly and outwardly to protrude forwardly, but are parallel to each other or respectively extend backwardly, which thus can avoid the first front end edge and the second front end edge of the stopping portion from abutting against the stopping wall first due to the protruding.

    摘要: The invention relates to a contact pin with a first and a second end portion and a bending portion located between the end portions, wherein the cross section of at least one end portion has a preferred bending direction (V1) and at least one bending resistance direction (R1) and wherein the moment of inertia of the cross section of the at least one end portion is smaller in the preferred bending direction (V1) than in the bending resistance direction (R1). If such contact pins are bent perpendicular to their longitudinal extension (Z) by a bending force in one direction (F), then the direction of the actual bending (X) deviates from the direction of the bending force (F). In order to eliminate or reduce this deviation it is provided according to the invention that the difference between the moments of inertia in the preferred bending direction (V1) and in the bending resistance direction (R1) in the cross section of the bending portion is smaller than in the at least one end portion. Furthermore, the invention relates to a connector, which comprises a contact pin according to the invention as well as a method for manufacturing a contact pin according to the invention.

    摘要: To provide a connector which is capable of reducing the amount of protrusion from the mounting surface of a substrate, and reducing the amount of exposure of contacts, and reducing a mounting area.A housing 50 is formed by a housing main body 51 which is inserted into a cutout formed in an LED-mounted substrate, and a top plate portion 52 which is continuous with the housing main body 51 and opposes to a mounting surface of the LED-mounted substrate. The housing main body 51 accommodates a contact portion 34 of a contact 30, and is formed with a connector receiving portion 51a which receives a housing of the cable connector. The top plate portion 52 is formed with a holding portion-receiving portion 52a which receives a holding portion 31 of the contact 30, from an inserting direction DI orthogonal to a direction along which the housing main body 51 is continuous with the top plate portion 52. The connection portions 32 and 33 of the contact 30 are caused to laterally protrude, and front ends of the connection portions 32 and 33 are bent toward the housing 50.

    摘要: An electrical connector assembly includes an elongated, electrically conductive female terminal formed from metal wherein the female terminal comprises a front end shaped to receive, in electrical connection therewith, a male terminal, said front end including a plurality of walls defining a male terminal-receiving opening, including a first wall portion defining a first slit therein and a second wall portion defining a second slit therein, said slits extending toward a rear end of the female terminal to provide resiliency to said wall portions for expansion of said opening when a male terminal is received in said male terminal-receiving opening. The first slit extends a greater distance toward the rear end than the second slit so that the first wall portion has a greater resiliency than the second wall portion. The male terminal includes a front end cooperatively shaped to fit within the male terminal-receiving opening of the female terminal and has opposed walls shaped for relatively high pressure electrical contact against the lateral projections of said female terminal.

    摘要: An electroconductive material having a base member formed of copper-based material and a coating layer overlaying the base member. The coating layer may be formed of tin-based, nickel-based, copper-based, silver-based, or gold-based materials. An undulate surface of the coating layer defines a plurality of crests and troughs. Each trough in the plurality of troughs has a depth of at least one half micron (0.5 μm) relative to each adjacent crest in the plurality of crests. A distance between adjacent crests in the plurality of crests is between twenty microns (20 μm) and one hundred microns (100 μm). This electroconductive material may form the contact surface of an electrical terminal in an electrical connection component and is effective to improve fretting corrosion resistance. A method of manufacturing such a electroconductive material is also presented.
