摘要: The cotton variety FM 1773LLB2 is disclosed. The invention relates to seeds, plants, plant cells, plant tissue, harvested products and cotton lint as well as to hybrid cotton plants and seeds obtained by repeatedly crossing plants of variety FM 1773LLB2 with other plants. The invention also relates to plants and varieties produced by the method of essential derivation from plants of FM 1773LLB2 and to plants of FM 1773LLB2 reproduced by vegetative methods, including but not limited to tissue culture of regenerable cells or tissue from FM 1773LLB2.

摘要: An absorbing article has a hydrophobic, liquid impermeable back side layer and a liquid permeable top layer together with an interposed hydrophilic core layer. The article is made so that at least the back side layer comprises hydrophobic vegetable fibers, preferably kapok fibers, and that the top lay can comprise wool fibers. Such an article is advantageous since it may be used for keeping the user warm in situations where there is need for liquid absorption without the risk of unintended temperature elevation known from plastic products.

摘要: The present invention provides a glass mat thermoplastic comprising a glass mat impregnated with an engineering thermoplastic polyurethane (ETPU) having a Tg of at least 50null C. The glass mat thermoplastic can be prepared, for example, by a) contacting a continuous glass mat with ETPU film or sheet, or between ETPU films or sheets, with sufficient pressure and heat to form a multilayered structure which contains a wetted out glass mat layer sandwiched between an ETPU layer and a glass mat layer, b) thermoforming or compression molding the multilayered structure with sufficient heat to substantially completely wet out the glass mat with the ETPU; and c) cooling the substantially wetted out thermoformed glass mat to a temperature below the Tg of the ETPU. The efficiency with which the depolymerizable and repolymerizable ETPU can be impregnated into the glass mat matrix results in a GMT with excellent physical properties.

摘要: Compound threads (1) and the fabrics obtained therefrom are very inexpensive, of acceptable quality and preferably useable to make recyclable disposable garments. The threads (1) include a thin carrier thread (2) to which a web mass (3), coming from the carding of the fiber used, is adhered, preferably by use of a water-soluble glue or electrostatic means. The compound thread (1) has the possibility of making use, upon making the web (3), of the shortest fibrils that are usually disposed of. One of the fabrics obtained consists of a band or strip of web (3) that includes several carrier threads (2) placed parallel to each other and that can be cut to obtain compound threads (1.) Another fabric consists of weft thread and crossed warp thread of which all or some, depending on the different combinations, are compound threads (1.)
