摘要: A patient state monitoring system and a method for monitoring patient state are disclosed. The patient state monitoring system includes a monitoring device and a monitoring module communicationally connected to the monitoring device, the monitoring module being worn on the patient's body. The patient state monitoring system also includes a processor that obtains parameters, and sets the operating mode of a monitoring module according to the obtained parameters, where the operating mode of the monitoring module comprises a continuous monitoring module and an intermittent monitoring mode. By use of the patient state monitoring system and method, during the monitoring of a patient, strict monitoring of the user's physical condition can be satisfied and the processing of redundant data can be reduced, thereby improving monitoring efficiency and quality.

摘要: Earphones comprise a first earphone for collecting a first biosignal and a second earphone for collecting a second biosignal. The second earphone is wirelessly connected to the first earphone and configured to quantize the second biosignal into a second digital signal and transmit the second digital signal to the first earphone together with a set of marker bits representing a time at which the second biosignal is collected. The first earphone includes a biosignal processor configured to quantize the first biosignal into a first digital signal and synchronize the first and second digital signals with reference to the set of marker bits to generate an electrocardiogram (ECG) signal; and a transmitter configured to transmit the ECG signal to a digital device wirelessly connected to the first earphone.

摘要: As may be implemented in accordance with one or more aspects depicted herein, an apparatus and/or method involves monitoring heart rhythm of a patient utilizing a housing having amplifying circuitry and digitizing circuitry configured to amplify and digitize ECG signals. Two or more legs protrude from the housing, each configured to provide an electrical connection from an ECG electrode to the amplifying circuitry. Computing circuitry processes the digitized ECG signals, communication circuitry communicates data corresponding to the ECG signals, and data storage circuitry stores data corresponding to the ECG signals. A charge storage circuit provides power to the circuitry, computing circuitry, and communication circuitry. The legs mechanically connect to skin electrodes and to support the weight of the housing and its contents in response to the skin electrodes being adhesively secured to skin.

摘要: The invention provides a body-worn monitor featuring a processing system that receives a digital data stream from an ECG system. A cable houses the ECG system at one terminal end, and plugs into the processing system, which is worn on the patient's wrist like a conventional wristwatch. The ECG system features: i) a connecting portion connected to multiple electrodes worn by the patient; ii) a differential amplifier that receives electrical signals from each electrode and process them to generate an analog ECG waveform; iii) an analog-to-digital converter that converts the analog ECG waveform into a digital ECG waveform; and iv) a transceiver that transmits a digital data stream representing the digital ECG waveform (or information calculated from the waveform) through the cable and to the processing system. Different ECG systems, typically featuring three, five, or twelve electrodes, can be interchanged with one another.
