摘要: Provided is an injector in which adhesion between a stator and a rotor of an ultrasonic motor can be released efficiently. An injector (1) which injects a chemical liquid includes: an ultrasonic motor unit (3) including an ultrasonic motor (31); a drive mechanism (4) to be driven by the ultrasonic motor unit (3) so as to feed the chemical liquid when the ultrasonic motor (31) rotates forwardly; and a control device (5) which controls the ultrasonic motor (31) of the ultrasonic motor unit (3). The ultrasonic motor (31) includes a stator (32) and a rotor (33), and the control device (5) controls the ultrasonic motor (31) to alternately repeat forward rotation and reverse rotation so that adhesion between the stator (32) and the rotor (33) is released.

Such method, or a separate method, may measure temperature and pressure of a common volume and a pumping chamber, wherein the pressure is measured using a pressure sensor and the temperature is measured using a temperature sensor, optionally one that measures the temperature of the pressure sensor, and calculate a volume of fluid in the pumping chamber based on ideal gas law and the pressure and temperature measurements, and such infusion system, or a separate system, includes a controller configured to carry out such measurement and calculation.

摘要: Fluid path assemblies for drug delivery devices and methods of establishing a fluid flow path for drug delivery devices are described that include a needle shield valve member that couples to a reservoir having a needle mounted thereto. The needle shield valve member includes an internal barrier that protects the needle and/or contains a drug within the reservoir until activation of the drug delivery device. Upon activation, there is relative movement between the reservoir and needle shield valve member until the needle pierces the barrier to establish a fluid flow path from the reservoir through the needle shield valve member.

The sheath may include a first chamber configured to receive a first agent and a second chamber configured to receive a second agent. Each of the first chamber and the second chamber may be disposed in a distal portion of the sheath.

In a first configuration, the first agent may be maintained within the first chamber and the second agent is maintained within the second chamber. 摘要: A plunger for use with a syringe has a plunger body with a proximal end, a distal end, and a circumferential sidewall extending between the proximal end and the distal end along a plunger longitudinal axis. The plunger further has at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member having a first segment attached to the plunger body and a second segment protruding toward the distal end of the plunger body and deflectable relative to the first segment. The plunger further has at least one actuation member associated with the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member. The at least one actuation member interacts with a piston to deflect the at least one resiliently deflectable retaining member upon rotation of the plunger relative to the piston. The plunger is engageable with the piston regardless of a rotational orientation of the piston relative to the plunger.

摘要: A closed system for harvesting fat through liposuction, concentrating the aspirate so obtained, and then re-injecting the concentrated fat into a patient comprises as its main components a low pressure cannula having between about 7 to 12 side holes of about 1-2 mm by 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a spring loaded syringe holder with a constant force or coiled ribbon spring to apply a substantially constant pressure over the fill excursion of the plunger, and a preferably flexible collection bag which is also preferably graduated, cylindrical over most of its body and funnel shaped at its bottom, all of which are connected through flexible tubings to a multi-port valve. The multi-port valve has two flutter/duck bill valves which restrict the fluid flow to a one way direction which effectively allows the syringe to be used to pump fat out of a patient and into a collection bag in a continuous manner. After the bags are centrifuged to concentrate the fat, the excess fluids are separated and the valve is re-connected to permit the syringe pump to reverse fluid flow to graft the concentrated fat back into the patient.

摘要: Systems and methods for driving electrical motors of medicament infusion pumps are disclosed. An infusion device for delivering a medicament to a body of a user can include a reservoir to contain medicament, a dispenser to cause medicament to be moved out of the reservoir, and a motor operably coupled to the dispenser. The motor can include a stator defining a central opening and a rotor removably disposed therein. A controller coupled to the stator is configured to (1) supply a first signal to the stator to cause the rotor to rotate in a first direction for a first rotational amount less than a full rotation; and (2) to then supply a second signal to the stator to cause the rotor to rotate in a second, opposite direction for a second rotational amount greater than the first, thereby causing medicament to be dispensed from the reservoir via the dispenser.

摘要: A medical device may comprise a flexible sheath defining a lumen extending from a proximal end of the sheath to a distal end of the sheath. The sheath may include a piston slidably received within the lumen; an agent disposed in the lumen distal to the piston; and pneumatic fluid disposed in the lumen proximal of the piston. The device may also comprise handle at a proximal end of the sheath, the handle including: a plunger received in a reservoir, wherein the reservoir is in fluid communication with the lumen. The reservoir may contain pneumatic fluid. The handle may also include a gear. An amount of rotation of the gear in a first direction may correspond to an amount that the plunger advances distally in the reservoir to displace pneumatic fluid. The displacement of the pneumatic fluid may advance the piston distally to deliver an amount of agent from the sheath.
