摘要: Process and relative machine for moulding a thermoplastic material for producing a finished article having a shape, wherein the process comprises:
providing a mould (99) comprising a first (1) and a second half-mould (2) each having a respective conformation surface (3, 4) which define, with closed mould, a cavity (5) having, in a conformation configuration, the shape;
making a semi-finished product (70) made of the thermoplastic material;
closing the mould (99) with the semi-finished product (70) interposed between the conformation surfaces (3, 4);
admitting a heating fluid into the cavity (5) for heating the semi-finished product (70) permeable to the heating fluid;
arranging the cavity (5) in a compacting configuration in which the cavity (5) coincides with a sub-portion of the cavity (5) in the conformation configuration;
with the cavity (5) in the compacting configuration and the heating fluid into the cavity (5), compressing the semi-finished product (70) between the conformation surfaces (3, 4);
subsequently to compressing the semi-finished product (70), arranging the cavity (5) in the conformation configuration while keeping the heating fluid into the cavity (5), wherein the semi-finished product (70) elastically expands for completely occupying the cavity and assuming the shape;
subsequently, evacuating the heating fluid from the cavity (5) for cooling the semi-finished product (70) for obtaining the finished article with the shape;
opening the mould (99) and extracting the finished article from the mould (99).-

摘要: A method is specified for producing a structural component, in particular for an aircraft, ground vehicle, or watercraft, or for a rotor blade of a wind turbine, in which method an arrangement of fibers and plastic material is laid in a mold and subjected to an increased pressure and an increased temperature, wherein a mold is used which comprises at least one recess in which a reinforcing element is arranged. The object is to be able to cost-effectively produce a structural component of this type. For this purpose, it is provided that the reinforcing element is laid in the recess together with a core, wherein a differential volume between the recess and core, at least in a predetermined region, is chosen such that it is smaller than a segment of the reinforcing element arranged in said region by a predetermined amount.

摘要: Pressure moulding process, and related device (100), for manufacturing an article, the process comprising: —providing a substrate (70) made of a composite material comprising a first polymeric material and fibres impregnated with said first polymeric material; —providing a coating sheet (71); —heating said substrate (70) to a temperature of the substrate (70) greater than 160° C.; —subsequently, during a first compression step, compressing under pressure the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) between a first conformation surface (1) and a second conformation surface (2) for conforming the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) and for firmly fixing the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) to each other; —during a second compression step subsequent to the first compression step, compressing under pressure the substrate (70) and the coating sheet (71) between the first (1) and second conformation surface (2) and injecting a second polymeric material in an injection cavity (3) having an outlet mouth (4) onto the first conformation surface (1), wherein a first face of the substrate (70) opposite to the coating sheet (71) is in contact with the first conformation surface (1); —cooling the second polymeric material for firmly fixing the second polymeric material to the first face of the substrate (70), wherein, during the first compression step, a temperature of the first (1) and second conformation surface (2) is less than 120° C.

摘要: A technique of manufacturing an elastomeric container closure or plunger with embedded functional components to avoid thermal damage to the components is described. The technique includes molding a drug-contacting part from a first material at a first temperature and for a first length of time defining a first thermal exposure; after molding the drug-contacting part, inserting ancillary components into the drug-contacting part, where the ancillary components have an operational thermal budget less than the first thermal exposure; and overmolding the drug-contracting part and the ancillary components with a second material at a second temperature for a second length of time to form a non-drug-contacting part that mechanically connects the non-drug-contacting part and the drug-contacting part to form the elastomeric container closure and seals the ancillary components inside the elastomeric container closure. The overmolding defines a thermal exposure less than the operational thermal budget of the ancillary components.

摘要: Fiber-composite parts that incorporate a very thin electrical circuit, and a method for making the parts via compression molding, are disclosed. The electrical circuit is encapsulated by a film having a melting point that exceeds the maximum temperature to which the film is exposed during compression molding. The electrical circuit is disposed in a composite ply, in a lay-up of composite plies, and electrical leads are routed through the composite plies so that the lead are accessible in the molded fiber-composite part.

To this end, the sandwich structure according to the present invention has the following configuration. That is, the sandwich structure has a core material (I) and fiber-reinforced materials (II) arranged on both surfaces of the core material (I), wherein at least one of the fiber-reinforced materials (II) includes a sheet-shaped heat conduction material (III) having an in-plane heat conduction ratio of 300 W/m·K or more.
