    摘要: A description is given of an apparatus for disconnecting a connection between solar modules of a photovoltaic string. A circuit breaker, a band-stop filter and a supply circuit are arranged in a series circuit between a first and second terminal. The series circuit is configured to conduct a current that includes a DC string current flowing through the photovoltaic string and a high-frequency control signal modulated onto the DC string current. The supply circuit is configured to generate energy to power the apparatus from the DC string current. An AC bypass circuit bridges the circuit breaker in parallel and is configured to conduct the high-frequency control signal. A control unit is configured to operate the apparatus based on the high-frequency control signal. A reverse current diode oppositely polarized relative to an operating current flow is connected in parallel with the circuit breaker or the circuit breaker and the band-stop filter.

    摘要: Phase compensation in an I/O (input/output) circuit includes a triangular control contour with a simplified generation circuit. A linear control circuit can generate a digital N-bit linear count, and route the least significant M bits [(M−1):0] for linear control for fine delay mixing of a phase compensation loop and the most significant (N−M) bits [(N−1):M] for linear control for coarse control of a delay chain for the phase compensation loop. Prior to decoding the least significant M bits for fine delay mixing, the control circuit performs a bitwise XOR (exclusive OR) of bit M with each of bits [(M−1):0] to generate M linear control bits as the linear control for fine delay mixing. The M linear control bits generate a linear control count having a triangular contour, where the linear control count continuously, repeatedly counts from 0 to (2M−1) to 0.

    摘要: The clock generation method contains the following steps. In a pulse recognition step, an input pulse signal is first filtered to remove a shorter signal. Then, a width digitization calculation is conducted on the remaining pulse signal. Based on the width digitization calculation, a signal is recorded and a period of the recorded signal is determined. The value of the period is delivered to a gain module. In a step for verifying the input value to D/A converter, two values are input to a D/A converter from the gain module, and the output from the D/A converter is delivered to an oscillator. The gain module determines a desired input value from the gain module to the D/A converter. In a pulse generation step, the gain module inputs the desired input value to the D/A converter which in turn delivers to the oscillator for the generation of a corresponding clock.

    摘要: A blumlein assembly incorporating a solid-state switch is presented. In the exemplary embodiment, a semiconductor switch is placed between first and second conducting strips, with dielectric material filling in the space between the strips on either side of the switch. A third conductive strip, parallel to the other two strips, is separated from the middle one of the strips by another dielectric layer. Rather than having the switch attach directly to the dielectric material on either side, a holder or carrier structure is used, which may be formed of several pieces or of a monolithic structure. The holder is formed of a material whose dielectric constant is closer to that of the switch than the dielectric material on either side, but whose boundary with the dielectric on either side has at least a portion that extends in a non-orthogonal direction with respect to the conducting strips. The arrangement allows the structure to withstand higher electric field levels without breakdown. The exemplary switch is light activated and the holder structure also includes ferrules on either side of the holder, by which optic fibers can be optically coupled with the switch. The switch extends to either side beyond the conductive strips, so that the ferrules are not placed between these strips to again allow for the use of higher field values.
