摘要: The disclosure provides to a method and an apparatus for supervised learning approach for reducing latency during a context switchover in a 5G Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC). An example method for performing a context switchover in a wireless network includes identifying a plurality of first parameters associated with a user equipment (UE) and a plurality of second parameters associated with an edge network entity; receiving a data path change notification from a session management entity; determining a ranking for each of a plurality of edge application servers (EASs) based on the plurality of first parameters and the plurality of second parameters, in response to reception of the data path change notification; selecting at least one target EAS of the plurality of EASs based on the ranking for each of the plurality of EASs; and performing the context switchover to the at least one target EAS.

摘要: Generally, according to aspects of the present invention, a multi-access edge computing a.k.a., mobile edge computing (MEC) server may be deployed in a wireless communication network such as a cellular communication system and wireless local area network (WLAN) for provision of an edge-based MEC service in an edge site. The MEC service may include a local communication for an audio/video distribution, data analysis, audio/video upload, etc. An access to the Internet may be provided via an access point, gateway, etc. in the wireless communication network. An Internet server accessible over the Internet may provide an Internet service associated with the MEC service. The Internet service may include recording of the edge-based local communication, backup communication as an alternative to the edge-based local communication, transfer of a media file to be used in the edge-based local communication, etc.

摘要: A system with distributed proxy for reducing traffic in a wireless network satisfies data requests made by a mobile application. The system includes a mobile device having a local proxy for intercepting a data request made by the mobile application. The local proxy simulates application server responses for the mobile application on the mobile device for data requests where responses are available in the local cache. A proxy server is coupled to the mobile device and an application server to which the data request is made. The proxy server is able to communicate with the local proxy. The local proxy forwards the data request to the proxy server for transmission to the application server for a response to the data request. The proxy server queries the application server for any changes to the data request that the mobile application has previously made and notifies the local proxy of such changes.

The redirect server may receive configuration signaling indicating that a location of a resource or service in the SBA domain has changed from an old location to a new location. The redirect server receives, from a requestor in the SBA domain, a request that targets the old location of the resource or service in the SBA domain. The redirect, responsive to the request, transmits, from the redirect server to the requestor, a response that redirects the requestor to the new location of the resource or service in the SBA domain.

摘要: A system, method, and apparatus is provided for performing testing using arrival of angles (AOA). The system, method, and apparatus can receive a first test signal from a first cell; receive a second test signal from a second cell; and perform a test based on AOA of the first test signal and the second test signal. At least one of the first test signal and the second test signal can include a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) signal or a synchronization signal block (SSB) signal. The first test signal can include a different number of SSBs transmitted during an Measurement Timing Configuration (MTC) window when compared to the second test signal. The system, method, and apparatus can receive the first test signal and the second test signal in a time division multiple access (TDMA) manner. The first cell can include a serving cell and the second cell can include a neighboring cell of the serving cell. The system, method, and apparatus can receive the first test signal using a main lobe of an antenna and the second test signal using a side lobe of the antenna.

摘要: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for providing Multipath Transmission Control Protocol (MPTCP) with mesh access. A multi Radio Access Technology (RAT) base station gateway having a MPTCP proxy, proxies an initial MPTCP connection from a User Equipment (UE). The multi-RAT base station gateway determines if the UE is capable of MPTCP to provide MPTCP. When the UE is capable of MPTCP, then the multi-Rat base station provides a Wi-Fi connection and an LTE connection. When the UE is not capable of MPTCP, then the multi-RAT base station provides an LTE connection.

The method includes: determining whether a current state meets a preset condition; obtaining a search space configuration parameter corresponding to the current state from pre-stored multiple sets of search space configuration parameters in response to determining that the current state satisfies the preset condition; switching a search space configuration parameter of a current search space for currently monitoring search space to the search space configuration parameter corresponding to the current state; and using the search space configuration parameter corresponding to the current state to continue monitoring the search space to obtain downlink control information (DCI) sent by a base station through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH).

摘要: An information handling system executing an intelligent throughput performance analysis and issue detection system may comprise a network interface device to establish a wireless link with a wireless network and a processor to execute a neural network trained to predict wireless link throughput values based on controlled connectivity testing metrics gathered in a controlled laboratory from tested information handling systems. The processor may gather measured throughput of the wireless link and operational connectivity metrics for the information handling system that describe antenna positional information, antenna adaptation controller parameters, signal strength measurements, and wireless link performance metrics. The neural network may output, based on the gathered operational connectivity metrics a predicted throughput value that differs from the measured throughput by a maximum tolerance. The network interface device may transmit a notification of erroneously predicted throughput, the neural network output, and the operational connectivity metrics to a remote neural network training platform for retraining.
