The article has a first fabric layer (1) laminated to a first surface of a foam structure (2) and a second fabric layer (3) laminated to a second surface of a foam structure. The exposed cells (4) of the foam are filled with resin prior to the laminating process so that the fabric layers adhere to the foam. The finished laminated foam sheet remains flexible, does not yellow, and dos not delaminate.

A spline, tongue, connector, or snap connector is described and useful for connecting a variety of surface covering products together. In one embodiment the spline is a polymeric material having an elongated shape and dimensions such that the spline has a sufficient width to fit into and extend outside of a groove in a side edge of a first plank and to fit into a respective groove in a side edge of a second plank. The spline may be concealed from view when the first plank and the second plank are connected together by the spline. A surface covering system for connecting two or more planks together is also described as well as methods to connect two or more planks together using the splines of the present invention.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein neues Verfahren zum Verschweissen von Kunststoffkapseln (2, 3) für Inhalatoren, die durch das Verfahren verschweissten Kapseln, sowie einen Apparat, der speziell daran angepasst ist, das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren auszuführen. Die durch das erfindungsgemässe Verfahren hergestellten Kapseln sind Einweg-Kapseln und enthalten bevorzugt eine Einzeldosis einer inhalativ applizierbaren pharmazeutischen Formulierung in Form eines Pulvers oder einer Flüssigkeit und sind von der Form und Funktion geeignet zur Verwendung in Pulverinhalatoren oder Flüssigkeitsverneblern zur Erzeugung von Aerosolen. Solche erzeugten Aerosole können beispielsweise inhaliert werden, so dass eine pharmazeutische Formulierung pulmonal appliziert wird.
