Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 1,2-disubstituted imidazole, with which formations of 1-position substituted and 2-position substituted imidazoles among by-products are controlled. SOLUTION: The method for producing a 1,2-disubstituted imidazole comprises reacting a reaction solution containing ammonia and a primary amine with an aldehyde compound and glyoxal. (1) The reaction solution is reacted with a part of the aldehyde compound to carry out a first-stage reaction, then the reaction system is reacted with the remaining aldehyde compound and glyoxal to carry out a second-stage reaction. Otherwise, (2) the reaction solution is mixed with a part of the aldehyde compound and a part of the glyoxal to carry out a first-stage reaction at 0-50°C and then the reaction system is mixed with the remaining aldehyde compound and the remaining glyoxal to carry out a second-stage reaction at a temperature 10-50°C higher than that of the first-stage reaction. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aryl thiourea derivatives and related compounds which are useful as antiviral agents. SOLUTION: Compounds of formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts there of: wherein 1-(4-(pentyloxy) phenyl)-3-(4-phenylbutanoyl) thiourea is specifically exemplified, possess potent antiviral activity. The above compounds are particularly potent and/or selective inhibitors for Hepatitis C virus replication. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions containing one or more compounds of formula I, or a salt, solvate, or acylated prodrug of such a compound, and one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, excipients, or diluents. Abstract: 本発明は、エネルギーを加えることにより、オレフィンの存在下、イミダゾリジンを有するルテニウムまたはオスミウムカルベン触媒を調製する方法を提供する。 得られる金属化合物は、2個のカルベン配位子、すなわち、一つはもとのカルベン由来の配位子、もう一つはイミダゾリジン由来の配位子を有する。 イミダゾリジンは、カルベン炭素に隣接している2箇所の位置に嵩高な保護基を有している。 また、塩基およびクロロホルムの存在下、イミダゾリンを塩から調製する方法も記載する。

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new haloalkylsulfone anilide derivative that has a wide range of applicability, high effect persistency, excellent selectivity between crop plants and weeds, being especially excellent as a herbicide in rice fields. SOLUTION: The haloalkylsulfone anilide derivative is represented by general formula (I)(wherein R 1 is a 1-6C haloalkyl; R 2 is H or a 1-6C alkyl and the like; Q is a (substituted) heterocycle in which at least one constituent atom is N and the N bonds to A; A is a substituted 1-6C alkylene and the like; G is O, N, N-R 3 , N-OR 4 , N-NR 5 R 6 ; m is 0 or 1; X is identically or differently one to four substituents selected from H, halogens, 1-6C alkyls, OH, NH 2 , CN, NO 2 and the like; R 3 , R 4 , R 5 and R 6 each means an alkyl, phenyl and the like). Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein many agents for controlling pest insects used over a long period have insufficient activities, and the use of the agents is limited because of the resistance possessed by the pest insects. SOLUTION: The new haloalkene-based compound useful as an active ingredient for the agent for controlling the pest insect is represented by the formula [wherein, X 1 and X 2 are each a halogen; Y is a hydrogen atom or a halogen; n is 0-5; Q is (1) a heterocyclic group selected from thienyl, furyl, pyrrolyl, thiazolyl, isothiazolyl, oxazolyl, isoxazolyl and the like, (2) a partially saturated heterocyclic group obtained by partially hydrogenating the heterocyclic group, (3) a saturated heterocyclic group obtained by completely hydrogenating the heterocyclic group, or (4) an oxo or thioxo hetero cyclic group (the whole heterocyclic parts may be substituted) obtained by converting methylene site of the dithiazolyl, the oxazinyl, the thiazinyl, the partially saturated heterocyclic group or the saturated heterocyclic group to oxo or thioxo].
