Abstract:
A light emitting assembly having a first light source and a second light source. The first and second light sources are oriented such that when the first and second light sources emit light, light emitted from the first and second light sources overlaps and is capable of forming white light. The light emitted from the first light source exhibits color coordinates different from the light emitted from the second light source. Also disclosed is a license plate illuminator having an LED device capable of emitting white light.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor radiation emitter package which combines a high emission amount of an output and protection from heat. SOLUTION: The semiconductor radiation emitter package 200 includes a lead frame 201, a semiconductor radiation emitter 202, and an encapsulant 203. The lead frame 201 supports the semiconductor radiation emitter 202, and includes a heat-absorbing member 204 for providing a heat path which removes heat generated in the emitter 202 into a surrounding environment, and at least two electrical leads 205 for electrically being connected to the semiconductor radiation emitter 202. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal mirror, which is lighter, has a small volume, emits greater lightness, is constructed more sturdily, and/or produces illumination and/or signal distinguishable easier. SOLUTION: The invention includes a housing 202 and at least two lamp assemblies 209 installed in the housing, wherein one of the lamp assemblies has an LED lamp 218 which has a heat absorbing member 400. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a rearview mirror assembly with a microwave antenna for receiving transmissions from satellites through the front windshield of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The microwave antenna may be tuned to receive satellite transmissions from a position identification system constellation of satellites. Additionally, the microwave antenna may be tuned to receive transmissions from a communication satellite, such as a CD radio satellite. In addition to the inventive rearview mirror assembly, an inventive electrical control system is disclosed that may be used as a navigation system, an electrochromic rearview mirror control system, a head lamp control system, a vehicle compass system, a vehicle data recorder system, and/or a vehicle odometer verification system. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator assembly which projects effective white illumination and has hues to be combined so that visible light emission forms the white illumination having mutually complementary and an equal-conditioned color when excited. SOLUTION: This illuminator assembly is constituted such that a plurality of LEDs are provided for a vehicular supporting member so that when all the LEDs are excited, a first received light hue, for example, illumination which presents a blue-green color and is projected from at least one of the LEDs is different from the first received hue and overlapped and mixed, forms the white color of the equal-conditioned color and has sufficient strength and color-rendering quality to form the effective illuminator, for example, illumination presenting amber color.
