Abstract: A method for searchable symmetric encryption. The method includes: accessing a computerized database that comprises keyword lists, each of the keyword lists comprising memory addresses of electronic documents that all contain a respective keyword; binning the memory addresses by performing balanced allocation of the memory addresses into ordered bins, such that at least some of the ordered bins each contains memory addresses of electronic documents that contain different keywords; encrypting each of the memory addresses with an encryption key that is derived from the keyword of the respective memory address; and storing the ordered bins at consecutive locations in a non-transient computer-readable memory, wherein the consecutive locations preserve the order of the ordered bins.

Abstract: A method of determining tolerance to an agent in a healthy subject is disclosed. The method comprises: (a) determining a signature of a microbiome in a sample of the healthy subject who has been subjected to the agent or condition; and (b) comparing the signature of the microbiome of the healthy subject to at least one reference signature of a pathological microbiome, wherein when the signature of the microbiome of the healthy subject is statistically significantly similar to the reference signature of the pathological microbiome, it is indicative that the healthy subject is intolerant to the agent.

Abstract: A system for carbon fixation is provided. The system comprises enzymes which catalyze reactions of a carbon fixation pathway, wherein at least one of the reactions of the carbon fixation pathway is a carboxylation reaction, wherein products of the reactions of the carbon fixation pathway comprise oxaloacetate and malonyl-CoA, wherein an enzyme which performs the carboxylation reaction is selected from the group consisting of phophoenolpyruvate (PEP) carboxlase, pyruvate carboxylase and acetyl-CoA carboxylase and wherein an export product of the carbon fixation pathway is glyoxylate. Additional carbon fixation pathways are also provided and methods of generating same.

Abstract: A method for use in construction of an electronic device and a transistor structure are presented. The method comprising: providing one or more nanotubes grown on a surface of a first substrate; providing a desired electrode arrangement fabricated on a surface of a second substrate. The electrode arrangement comprises at least two elevated source and drain electrodes and one or more gate electrodes located in between said elevated source and drain electrodes. The method also comprises bringing the electrode arrangement on the second substrate to close proximity with the first substrate such that surfaces of the first and second substrates face each other; scanning said first substrate with said electrode arrangement and determining contact of electrodes of the electrode arrangement with a nanotube located on the first substrate; and detaching said nanotube from the first substrate to provide a transistor structure comprising an isolated nanotube between the source and drain electrodes.
