摘要: It is an object of the present invention to improve the mixability of liquid hydrocarbon fuel and hydrogen gas and reduce the number of parts required for fuel supply means that supplies the two types of fuel. Disclosed is a hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine that uses liquid hydrocarbon fuel and hydrogen gas as fuel. The hydrogen-fueled internal combustion engine comprises a fuel injection device for injecting hydrocarbon fuel; fuel supply means for supplying hydrocarbon fuel to the fuel injection device; and a microbubble generation device for generating microbubbles of hydrogen gas and mixing the generated microbubbles of hydrogen gas into liquid hydrocarbon fuel in the fuel supply means. The hydrogen gas microbubbles are supplied, for instance, to a fuel supply path (second fuel supply path) and fuel tank, which constitute the fuel supply means.

摘要: The X-ray inspection system 10 comprises an X-ray electron conversion face 42 for converting an entered X-ray image transmitted through the measurement object into an electronic image, an output fluorescent face 46 for emitting fluorescence when an electronic image is entered, and deflecting means 44 which is installed between the X-ray electron conversion face 42 and output fluorescent face 46, wherein the electronic image which was entered and converted at the X-ray electron conversion face 42 is converged into a predetermined area on the output fluorescent face 46 by the deflecting means 44 so as to make the X-ray fluoroscopic image of the moving measurement object stand still on the output fluorescent face 46. By this, the image of the measurement object can be captured during the time when the X-ray fluorescence image is standing still, so sensitivity can be secured while increasing the resolution.

摘要: An ATM switching system 1 is provided with an ATM switch 11, a reserved connection memory 12 for storing reserved connection information, a call history memory 13 for maintaining call histories of requests for connection from subscriber's terminal units 2−1 to 2−n, and a call-signal processing section 15. The call-signal processing section 15 generates a request for connection with respect to a trunk ATM switching network 3 by the use of the call histories in the call history memory 13 in the case where no call was issued from the subscriber's terminal units, and stores response results thereof in the reserved connection memory 16. Thereafter, when there was a call from the subscriber's terminal units 2−1 to 2−n, and contents of the request for connection thereof are the same as the reserved connection information, which has been stored in the reserved connection memory 16, processing for connection is executed by the use of the reserved connection information. As a result, an ATM switching system by which response becomes possible in even the case where a large amount of calls are issued at the same time, besides reduction in cost can also be attained is provided.

摘要: A manufacturing method for a continuously cast product of steel includes the steps of detecting a position of a crater end of the product by a method for measuring a solidification state of continuously cast product using a sensor arranged so as to be in non-contact with the product, and controlling at least one condition selected from the conditions of the casting speed and the quantity of secondary cooling water based on the detected position of crater end. The method for measuring a solidification state of continuously cast product includes the steps of transmitting transverse waves of burst-like electromagnetic ultrasonic waves, in which at least one selected from frequency, amplitude, and phase is modulated within a pulse width that has a magnitude of 50 to 150% of the maximum time width not exceeding a time of flight for propagating in said product, to said product as a transmitting signal, receiving a signal after said transmitting signal propagates in said product as a receiving signal, and judging the solidification state of said product by performing a correlation operation of said receiving signal by using a reference signal of a waveform that is the same as or similar to said transmitting signal.

摘要: When multiple cameras (CAM1) to (CAM8) for shooting the periphery of a local vehicle are mounted on the vehicle, and when obtained camera images are to be synthesized to display a synthesized image on the screen of a display device (16), the pixel data for the camera images constituting the synthesized image are compensated for, so that differences in the pixel data for adjacent camera images is reduced. For example, the pixel data are corrected so their values equal the average values of the pixel data for the adjacent camera images. Therefore, an easily viewed image, produced by synthesizing the images obtained by the multiple vehicle cameras, can be displayed on the monitor device (16).
