    摘要: Rotary drum type heat treatment apparatus having a rotary drum rotatable about a longitudinal axis. The drum has an outlet end and the apparatus includes a cooling section having a movable grate with one end disposed beneath the outlet end of the rotary drum for receiving material from the drum. The drum is provided at the outlet end with a plurality of circumferentially spaced distribution members, each of which has at least one side surface extending longitudinally outwardly beyond the outlet end and inclined with respect to a radial line of the drum for engagement with material being discharged through the outlet end to deflect the same.

    摘要: An electroluminescent screen comprising a plurality of continuous phosphor stripes running the length of the screen formed on a panel for a color cathode-ray tube by applying film containing photosensitive material onto the panel. A shadow mask is attached to the panel, and the mask and film are irradiated by light from a light source.The shadow mask has on its concave face which faces the light source apertures arranged in substantially parallel rows, the apertures along the length of each of the rows being separated from each other by thin beam-intercepting bridge portions. The area on the shadow mask irradiated by the light is limited to cover only a part of the length of the rows of apertures by a shield plate having an opening for limiting the path of the light.The shield plate is moved so as to move the irradiated area on the shadow mask along the length of the rows of the apertures. The light source has sufficient length in the lengthwise direction of the rows of apertures to produce on the film the bright image of the apertures, each image being expanded to be connected with the adjacent bright images of the apertures on either side along the length of the row. The light source is gradually inclined synchronously with the moving of the irradiated area on the shadow mask, to always be kept substantially parallel to the rows of apertures in the irradiated area.

    摘要: Provided is a therapeutic agent capable of treating allergic rhinitis in a safe, simple, and noninvasive manner substantially without side effects and physical distress to patients. Provided is a therapeutic agent for allergic rhinitis for 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) comprising 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) or a derivative thereof, or a salt of the 5-aminolevulinic acid or the derivative as an active ingredient, and used in ALA-PDT in which light having a wavelength of 400 nm to 700 nm is irradiated; and particularly provided is a therapeutic agent for allergic rhinitis in a locally applied solution form, a water-soluble ointment-dissolved form, a jelly-dissolved form, or the like. The therapeutic agent does not require the conduct of 5-aminolevulinic acid-based photodynamic diagnosis (ALA-PDD) for detecting a site of protoporphyrin IX (PpIX) accumulation radiating light having a wavelength of 610 nm to 650 nm under irradiation of excitation light having a wavelength of 380 nm to 420 nm before ALA-PDT.

Disclosed is a spring including: a composition consisting of, by mass %, 0.5 to 0.7% of C, 1.0 to 2.0% of Si, 0.1 to 1.0% of Mn, 0.1 to 1.0% of Cr, not more than 0.035% of P, not more than 0.035% of S, and the balance of Fe and impurities; a structure including not less than 95% of tempered martensitic structure; a compressive residual stress layer formed to a depth of 0.35 mm to D/4, in which D (mm) is a diameter; the compressive residual stress layer having maximum compressive residual stress of 800 to 2000 MPa; a center portion with Vickers hardness of 550 to 700 HV; and a high hardness layer with greater hardness than the center portion.

    摘要: A spring consists of, by weight %, 0.27 to 0.48% of C, 0.01 to 2.2% of Si, 0.30 to 1.0% of Mn, not more than 0.035% of P, not more than 0.035% of S, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. The spring has a nitrogen compound layer and a carbon compound layer at the surface at a total thickness of not more than 2 μm. The spring has a center portion with hardness of 500 to 700 HV in a cross section and has a compressive residual stress layer at a surface layer. The compressive residual stress layer has a thickness of 0.30 mm to D/4, in which D (mm) is a circle-equivalent diameter of the cross section, and has maximum compressive residual stress of 1400 to 2000 MPa.
