The prefabricated lead frame may be manufactured in batch production to increase the manufacturing efficiency of semiconductor devices, and the prefabricated lead frame may be used instead of a general wire bonding process.

In one aspect, a microelectrode sensing device includes a substrate and an array of microelectrode sensors formed on the substrate. Each sensor includes at least one conductive layer formed above the substrate and patterned to include a counter electrode and multiple sensing electrodes to detect an electrical signal in absence and presence of one or more target cells positioned on at least a portion of a surface of each sensing electrode. The sensing electrodes are spaced apart and arranged around the counter electrode to provide a spatially averaged value of the detected electrical signal.

The invention provides a strain of Geobacillus thermodenitrificans as well as the screening method and the uses thereof. The strain was deposited as the number CGMCC-1228 in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center of the China Committee of Culture Collection for Microorganisms. The strain was obtained by primary screening, re-screening, inoculation, domestication and propagation using the bacteria in the aqueous samples from the strata of oil field as the original screening strain. The strain screened in the invention belongs to the genus Geobacillus, which can tolerate a high temperature, and has good thermostability, which can be applied to the industrial production which need the condition of thermostable enzymes, such as fermentation, etc. With its ability of growing well in the oil-reservoir environment, degrading alkanes, decreasing viscosity and increasing fluidity of crude oil, the strain is able to remarkably enhance the yield of oil and improve the transporting efficiency of oil. Additionally, with its good ability of degrading oil, it can be developed for the treatment and clearing of the material such as the oil contaminated water, etc., so it can be useful in protection of the environment. This strain also has the ability of decreasing the surface tension of substances, which can be applied to the industry of biosurfactants preparation.

The transmit out of band emissions in an adjacent band can be reduced while complying with existing wireless communication standards through utilization of one or more of reduced transmit bandwidth, transmit operating band offset, and channel index remapping. The transceiver can support a receive operating band that is substantially adjacent to a band edge. The transmit operating band can be offset from an adjacent frequency band, and can use a narrower operating band than is supported by the receiver. The transmit baseband signal can have a reduced bandwidth to reduce the amount of noise. The frequency offset can introduce a larger transition band between the transmit operating band edges and the adjacent frequency band of interest. The transceiver can remap channel assignments to compensate for the frequency offset such that the frequency offset introduced in the transmitter is transparent to channel allocation.

The systems and methods employ dynamic multithreading redundancy (DMR) for error correction. Non-overlapped register access patterns associated create hardware redundancy dynamically that is exploited for error control. Immediate write-back and self-recovery techniques are employed to further enhance the error correction functionalities of the disclosed systems and methods. Error control is improved for memory components and processing functions in multithreaded computing systems.

The invention discloses maize bZIP transcriptional factors, namely, ABP2, ABP4 and ABP9, the genes encoding these factors, and the use thereof. The transcriptional factors are proteins having an amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6, or proteins derived therefrom by substitution, deletion or addition of one or more amino acid residues of SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6, and having the same activity as a protein shown by SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, or 6. The ABP2, ABP4 and ABP9 genes encoding these factors, respectively, are the DNA sequences having an identity of more than 90% with a sequence shown by SEQ ID NO: 1, 3 or 5 and the encoded proteins having such same functions. These genes are important for breeding plant varieties with an enhanced tolerance to abiotic stresses and for improving plant tolerance to abiotic stresses.
