摘要: A field-effect transistor including an active zone comprises a source, a channel, a drain and a control gate, which is positioned level with the channel, allowing a current to flow through the channel between the source and drain along an x-axis, the channel comprising: a first edge of separation with the source; and a second edge of separation with the drain; the channel being compressively or tensilely strained, wherein the channel includes a localized perforation or a set of localized perforations along at least the first and/or second edge of the channel so as to also create at least one shear strain in the channel. A process for fabricating the transistor is provided.

摘要: A mechanical link for microelectromechanical and/or nanoelectromechanical structure, includes a mobile component, a fixed component extending on a plane, and apparatus for detecting displacement of the mobile component relative to the fixed component. The mechanical link includes: a first link to the fixed component and mobile component, allowing rotation of the mobile component relative to the fixed component about an axis of rotation; a second link connecting the mobile component to the detection apparatus at a distance and perpendicular to the axis of rotation; a third link to the fixed component and detection apparatus, guiding the detection apparatus in a direction of translation in the plane; wherein the combination of the second link and third link can transform rotational movement of the mobile component into translational movement of the detection apparatus in the direction of translation. The detection apparatus includes a piezoresistive/piezoelectric strain gauge, resonance beam, capacitance, or combination thereof.

摘要: Methods for characterizing micro-organisms may include (a) depositing micro-organisms on a porous medium with a first and a second surface and pores extending from the first surface to the second surface; (b) arranging the porous medium on the surface of a nutrient medium contained in a chamber, the second surface being arranged in contact with the nutrient medium; (c) moving the porous medium in relation to the chamber; (d) positioning the porous medium between an infrared light source and an image sensor, the light source being configured to emit an incident light wave in an emission wavelength; (e) illuminating micro-organisms retained on the porous medium, using the light source and acquiring an image using the image sensor, the image allowing an observation of at least one colony of micro-organisms; and (f) characterizing the colony of microorganisms from the image acquired in the illuminating (e).

摘要: A method for welding between two metallic plates, including:
(a) fitting a solid plate without openings, configured to be transparent at at least one emission wavelength of a laser beam (F) emitted by a laser (L), between the laser (L) and at least one contact zone between the metallic plates to be welded;
(a1) inerting of the contact zone via a netural gas, where the neutral gas circulates in channels delimited by the contact zone between the metallic plates and by the solid plate;
(a2) exerting pressure on the two metallic plates to apply them against one another in the contact zone to be welded, where the application pressure is exerted by the solid plate directly in contact with one of the two metallic plates to be welded; and
(b) emission of a laser beam, through the solid plate, to perform welding of the metallic plates in the contact zone.-
