Abstract: Aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reporting is discussed. An example user equipment includes a receiver circuit, processor, and transmitter circuit. The receiver circuit receives transmissions from a plurality of serving cells via a carrier aggregation (CA) mode and receives an aperiodic CSI reporting request indicating a set for CSI reporting. The plurality of serving cells comprises at least six serving cells, and one or more of the plurality is associated with the indicated set. The processor is operably coupled to the receiver circuit and calculates one or more CSI parameters for each serving cell of the plurality that is associated with the indicated set; and generates an aperiodic CSI report based at least in part on the calculated CSI parameters for each serving cell associated with the indicated set. The transmitter circuit transmits the aperiodic CSI report to an Evolved NodeB (eNB) via a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH).

The UE can be configured to identify, at the UE, an interrupted transmission (INT) indicator from the control information in the first active BWP. The UE can be configured to determine, at the UE, a location of an INT indicator for a second active BWP from the INT indicator for the first active BWP.

Abstract: Technology for mapping an enhanced physical downlink control channel to physical resource blocks in a radio frame is disclosed. One method comprises mapping modulated symbols in the ePDCCH to at least one control channel element. The at least one control channel element may be mapped to resource elements located in a plurality of distributed physical resource blocks in a subframe, wherein each resource block is in a distributed resource block group and is separated by at least one additional resource block in the subframe. The mapping may also be to resource elements distributed in a single resource block in the subframe, wherein the control channel element is mapped to be distributed in frequency and time relative to other mapped resource elements in the single resource block and the single resource block belongs to a localized resource block group.

Abstract: Embodiments of a system and method for reporting channel state information (CSI) in a wireless network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE) can include physical layer circuitry to receive, in a first subframe, a first aperiodic CSI request from a first cell group, and a second aperiodic CSI request from a second cell group. The UE can include processing circuitry to determine a number of requested CSI processes corresponding to the first aperiodic CSI request and the second aperiodic CSI request. Additionally, the processing circuitry can select a subset of the requested CSI processes when the determined number of requested CSI processes is more than five. Furthermore, the processing circuitry can calculate CSI for the selected CSI processes.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples is a method for providing a HARQ response in an LTE network for a PUCCH format 1b. The method includes receiving one or more downlink assignments of a bundling window over a wireless downlink control channel; setting a reception status for each sub-frame of a downlink data channel in the bundling window based on whether the sub-frame on the downlink data channel was associated with a particular one of the received downlink assignments and based upon whether the sub-frame was successfully received; setting a reception status of sub-frames of the downlink data channel in the bundling window that did not have a corresponding downlink assignment to a predetermined value; and transmitting a response, the response based upon the reception statuses set by the response module.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method including communicating, by a mobile device, with a base station via first and second component carriers having different frequency bands and time division duplexing (TDD) configurations. The method may include receiving one or more downlink transmissions via the second component carrier. The method may include selecting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing sequence based on the TDD configurations of the first and second component carriers. The method may include transmitting one or more positive acknowledgment and/or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) signals, associated with the one or more downlink transmissions, according to the selected HARQ timing sequence. Abstract: Technology for adapting uplink-downlink (UL-DL) time-division duplexing (TDD) subframe configurations in a heterogeneous network (HetNet) is disclosed. One method can include a reference enhanced Node B (eNB) determining a preferred adaptive UL-DL configuration. The eNB can receive node configuration information for at least one neighboring node. The eNB can reconfigure an adaptive UL-DL configuration for at least one of the reference eNB and the at least one neighboring node based on the node configuration information and sounding reference signal (SRS) subframe scheduling of the reference eNB and the at least one neighboring eNB.
