摘要: The present invention provides a method for preparing acetic acid by carbonylation of methanol, which comprises: passing a raw material containing methanol, carbon monoxide and water through a reaction region loaded with a catalyst containing an acidic molecular sieve with an adsorbed organic amine, and carrying out a reaction under the following conditions to prepare acetic acid. The method in the present invention offers high acetic acid selectivity and good catalyst stability. The catalyst in the present invention does not contain noble metals such as rhodium or iridium, and does not need additional agent containing iodine, and thus does not generate a strong corrosive hydroiodic acid and the like.

摘要: An alkylation catalyst having a zeolite catalyst component and a binder component providing mechanical support for the zeolite catalyst component is disclosed. The binder component is an ion-modified binder that can include metal ions selected from the group consisting of Co, Mn, Ti, Zr, V, Nb, K, Cs, Ga, B, P, Rb, Ag, Na, Cu, Mg, Fe, Mo, Ce, and combinations thereof. The metal ions reduce the number of acid sites on the zeolite catalyst component. The metal ions can range from 0.1 to 50 wt % based on the total weight of the ion-modified binder. Optionally, the ion-modified binder is present in amounts ranging from 1 to 80 wt % based on the total weight of the catalyst.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a process for preparing a catalyst. The process comprises coating zeolite gel over the alumina support to obtain a chloride free zeolite gel coated alumina support, crystallizing the chloride free zeolite gel coated alumina support, washing, drying and calcining the crystallized zeolite coated alumina support to obtain a calcined crystallized chloride free zeolite coated alumina support, treating the calcined crystallized chloride free zeolite coated alumina support with ammonium nitrate to obtain sodium free support, washing, drying, and calcining the support to obtain a calcined chloride free zeolite coated alumina support, immersing the calcined chloride free zeolite coated alumina support in an active metal and a promoter metal solution mixture followed by stirring to obtain a metal coated chloride free zeolite coated alumina support, and drying and calcining the metal coated chloride free zeolite coated alumina support to obtain the catalyst.

摘要: Method for the preparation of a metal-exchanged zeolites or mixtures of metal-exchanged zeolites, such as Cu-SSZ-13, Cu-ZSM-5, Cu-beta, or Fe-beta, comprising the steps of providing a dry mixture of a) one or more microporous zeotype materials that exhibit ion exchange capacity and b) one or more metal compounds; heating the mixture in a gaseous atmosphere containing ammonia to a temperature lower than 300° C. for a time sufficient to initiate and perform a solid state ion exchange of ions of the metal compound and ions of the zeolite material; and obtaining the metal-exchanged zeolite material.

摘要: Disclosed are a catalyst system and its use in a process for the conversion of a feedstock containing C8+ aromatic hydrocarbons to produce light aromatic products, comprising benzene, toluene and xylene. The catalyst system comprises (a) a first catalyst bed comprising a first catalyst composition, said first catalyst composition comprising a zeolite having a constraint index of 3 to 12 combined (i) optionally with at least one first metal of Group 10 of the IUPAC Periodic Table, and (ii) optionally with at least one second metal of Group 11 to 15 of the IUPAC Periodic Table; and (b) a second catalyst bed comprising a second catalyst composition, said second catalyst composition comprising (i) a meso-mordenite zeolite, combined (ii) optionally with at least one first metal of Group 10 of the IUPAC Periodic Table, and (iii) optionally with at least one second metal of Group 11 to 15 of the IUPAC Periodic Table, wherein said meso-mordenite zeolite is synthesized from TEA or MTEA and having a mesopore surface area of greater than 30 m2/g and said meso-mordenite zeolite comprises agglomerates composed of primary crystallites, wherein said primary crystallites have an average primary crystal size as measured by TEM of less than 80 nm and an aspect ratio of less than 2.
