摘要: Devices, systems, and methods for detecting molecules of interest within a collected sample are described herein. In certain embodiments, self-contained sample analysis systems are disclosed, which include a reusable reader component, a disposable cartridge component, and a disposable sample collection component. The reader component may communicate with a remote computing device for the digital transmission of test protocols and test results. In various disclosed embodiments, the systems, components, and methods are configured to identify the presence, absence, and/or quantity of particular nucleic acids, proteins, or other analytes of interest, for example, in order to test for the presence of one or more pathogens or contaminants in a sample.

摘要: A device and method for handling racks of disposable pipette tips in a laboratory automation system are presented. The device comprises a guide rail for guiding racks from a loading region (I) to a supply region (II). The loading region (I) is accessible by a user or a loading device for loading a rack on the guide rail. A plurality of disposable pipette tips stored in a supplying rack located in the supply region (II) is accessible by a delivering device for delivering at least one selected one of the plurality of disposable pipette tips to a pipetting system. The device comprises at least one moveable element, which is controllably moveable by a driving device for selectively enabling or disabling a removal of the supplying rack from the supply region (II). A laboratory automation system comprising such a device and/or for carrying out the method are also presented.

摘要: An online liquid autosampler may include a pipette, a depyrogenation system, a sample source, and a movement system. The depyrogenation system may be configured to selectively depyrogenate the pipette. The sample source may be configured to provide a liquid to be sampled to the pipette. The movement system may be coupled to one or more of the pipette, the depyrogenation system, or the sample source. The movement system may be configured to: position the pipette within the depyrogenation system for depyrogenation; position a tip of the pipette within the sample source to aspirate a sample of the liquid from the sample source; and position the pipette to dispense an aliquot of the sample of the liquid into an aliquot sample target.

Further disclosed is a method for automated analysis of samples in a sample vessel assembly.

摘要: The present invention discloses a section of tubing including a fluoropolmer tubular body which has an interior surface defining a fluid passage through the tubular body. At least a first portion of the interior surface has a first hydrophobicity which is less than that of the remainder of the tubular body. At least a first portion of the interior surface can have a molar ratio of fluorine to oxygen of no greater than 30 to 1. Products can include the tubular bodies of the present invention attachable to fluid processing instruments such as immunodiagnostic instruments. The present invention also discloses methods for manufacturing the disclosed tubular bodies.
