Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving first user-generated input, over a communication network, from a communication device that indicates a request to provision a ghost software application on the communication device, and provisioning, over the communication network, an anchor software application on a subscriber identity module (SIM) associated with the ghost software application. Further embodiments can include receiving second user-generated input, over the communication network, from the communication device that indicates request to utilize the ghost software application, and identifying the anchor software application provisioned on the SIM of the communication device resulting in an identification. Additional embodiments can include provisioning, over the communication network, the ghost software application onto the communication network based on the identification, and removing the ghost software application from a server/database/device in which it was previously stored. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an integrated technology catalog system (“system”) can provide an interface through which a technology catalog can be accessed to view a technology product and evaluate the technology product in a given context. The system can receive, via the interface, a request to evaluate the technology product in the given context. In response to the request, the system can identify whether at least one guidance rule is applicable to the technology product in the given context. In response to identifying that the at least one guidance rule is applicable to the technology product in the given context, the system can generate a report for the technology product. The report can include all applicable guidance rules for the technology product. The system can output the report.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method that includes obtaining, by a processing system, real-time information regarding a state of a communication network and capabilities of the communication network; selecting a routing for delivering a message to user equipment (UE) coupled to the network, in accordance with the real-time information; and configuring a messaging path according to the routing. The method further includes detecting whether the UE is in a non-active state and if so, providing a notification on a user plane data path of the communication network; the UE on returning to an active state thus is notified that the message is available via the user plane data path. If the UE on returning to the active state is unable to receive the message via the user plane data path, the message is then provided on a control plane signaling path. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a coherence block for each user equipment (UE) of a plurality of UEs being served by the first cell, resulting in a plurality of coherence blocks, responsive to the determining, identifying a smallest coherence block from the plurality of coherence blocks, identifying a pilot sequence length based on the smallest coherence block, determining a plurality of orthogonal pilot sequences based on the identifying the pilot sequence length, designating, from the plurality of orthogonal pilot sequences, a first group of orthogonal pilot sequences for use in the first cell, and distributing, to each neighboring cell of a plurality of neighboring cells adjacent to the first cell, a respective group of orthogonal pilot sequences from a remainder of the plurality of orthogonal pilot sequences, to prevent pilot contamination between the first cell and the plurality of neighboring cells.
