Abstract: The present inventive concept relates to a chemically modified anion exchange membrane and a method of preparing the same and, more particularly, an anion exchange membrane in which sulfonic acid groups in a perfluorinated sulfonic acid electrolyte membrane are substituted with anion conductive groups such as an ammonium group, a phosphonium group, an imidazolium group, a pyridinium group and a sulfonium group, and a method of preparing an anion exchange membrane by chemically modifying sulfonic acid groups in a perfluorinated sulfonic acid electrolyte membrane.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of using a recombinant antibacterial protein, termed Ablysin, for effectively killing multidrug-resistant pathogenic bacteria. The recombinant protein Ablysin is administered to prevent or treat infectious diseases caused by the antibiotic-resistant bacteria Acinetobacter baumannii. Ablysin can be widely used in antibiotics, disinfectants, food additives, feed additives, and the like. In particular, the Ablysin protein uses peptidoglycan, a component of the cell wall of bacteria, as a substrate and exhibits bacterial killing ability due to peptidoglycan degradation. The Ablysin of the present invention can be applied in the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, biotechnology, or similar industries, as the protein effectively kills bacteria at a desired place or in a target substance without problems of resistance that occurs in other antimicrobial agents.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for separating single cells. The apparatus includes: a fluid channel having an upper panel, a lower panel, and a flow path formed therebetween that is configured to convey a sample including a single cell; a single cell measuring unit including first and second electrodes provided on the fluid channel in a predetermined spaced relationship for applying electrical signals to the sample in the flow path, and a detection electrode provided between the first and second electrodes to detect the single cell in the sample in the flow path, such that the single cell measuring unit applies the electrical signals to the sample in the flow path, detects the electrical signals of the sample, and detects whether there is the single cell in the sample; and a single cell separation control device which outputs a single cell separation control signal when the single cell is detected by the detection electrode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Leukocyte-specific protein 1 (LSP1)-deficient T cell-based anticancer immunotherapy. According to the present invention, tumor growth, tumor volume and size were reduced by means of LSP1 knockout, and LSP1 deficiency in T cells increases the number, distribution frequency, migration, and invasion of T cells, and increases the production of an anti-tumor cytokine to inhibit tumor growth and enhance tumor-killing ability. Thus, the present invention can be used for T cell-based immunotherapy.
