    摘要: A wheel bearing assembly is provided which can suppress brake judder. A film is disposed between the brake rotor-mounting surface of the wheel mounting flange and an abutment surface of a brake rotor to fill a gap therebetween to suppress the deformation of the brake rotor. Also, by concentrating the contact force between the wheel-mounting flange and the brake rotor when a disc wheel of the wheel is tightened to the hub bolts to a portion near the hub bolts, the contact between the wheel-mounting flange and the brake rotor on the surfaces between the hub bolts is suppressed so that undulation of the flat surfaces between the hub bolts will not cause deformation of the brake rotor.

    摘要: Provided is a small-sized, lightweight, low-cost, and highly reliable bearing device for a driving wheel which needs no tapered spline, and eliminates a circumferential backlash in spline fitting portions to thereby prevent unusual noise. The bearing device for a driving wheel comprises an outer race (5) having an inner periphery in which double-row outer raceway surfaces (13, 14) are formed; a hub wheel (1) and an inner race (2) having outer peripheries in which double-row inner raceway surfaces (7, 8) opposed to the outer raceway surfaces (13, 14) are formed; and double-row rolling elements (3, 4) interposed between the outer raceway surfaces (13, 14) of the outer race (5) and the inner raceway surfaces (7, 8) of the hub wheel (1) and the inner race (2). A shaft hole (28) of the hub wheel (1) is formed into a cylindrical shape, and a male spline (26) is formed on an outer periphery of a stem section (27) of the outer joint member (15) so that the stem section (27) of the outer joint member (15) is press-fit into the shaft hole (28) of the hub wheel (1). With this, recesses caused to closely fit on the male spline (26) with interference are formed in the shaft hole (28) of the hub wheel (1), whereby the hub wheel (1) and the outer joint member (15) are separably coupled to each other.

    摘要: An input-side rotary member 20, including an input gear 7, and an output-side rotary member 19, including a torque cam 1 fixedly mounted on an output shaft 12, are provided on the same axis of rotation. The input-side rotary member 20 is provided with an input cage 3 having a plurality of radially extending pockets 30 and balls 9 movably accommodated within the respective pockets 30. The torque cam 1 is provided with a generally annular cam groove 31 in which the balls 9 move rollingly, which groove 31 is of a shape having a distance from the axis of rotation that varies continuously. A presser member 2 is provided with a pressing face 2a by which the balls 9 are urged by a spring element 4.
