    摘要: A drive wheel support bearing assembly includes a hub axle, a constant velocity joint and a bearing unit which are unitized together, and an inner member made up of an outer coupling member of the CVT with the hub axle mounted on an outer periphery of a hollow stem portion of the outer coupling member. Inner peripheral side raceway surfaces are formed on the hub axle and the outer coupling member. Hardened indentations are formed in an inner periphery of the hub axle, and the hub axle and the outer coupling member are plastically coupled integrally with each other by radially outwardly expanding a mounting area, at which the hub axle is mounted on the hollow stem portion, to allow it to bite into the indentations to crimp. Sensors for detecting the displacement or deformation of the outer coupling member and the hub axle are provided in the outer member.

    摘要: Provided are: a double-row angular bearing capable of enhancing its rolling life and cost reduction; a bearing device for a wheel, which is capable of reducing a number of assembling process steps in an assembly factory of automobiles and the like, is excellent in productivity, and is capable of cost reduction; and a method of producing an outer race and an inner race of a bearing, which can achieve their weight reduction to a large extent. The double-row angular bearing includes: an inner race having inner rolling surfaces on a radially outer surface thereof; an outer race having outer rolling surfaces on a radially inner surface thereof; and rolling elements rotatably housed between the outer rolling surfaces of the outer race and the inner rolling surfaces of the inner race. The outer race or the inner race is formed of a plastically worked article formed by cold rolling.

    摘要: A bearing apparatus for a driving wheel of a vehicle has a wheel hub (1), a constant velocity universal joint (3) and a double row rolling bearing (2) assembled as a unit. The wheel hub (1) and the outer joint member (14) of the constant velocity universal joint (3) are fitted to each other. At least one of the inner raceway surface (1a) of the double row rolling bearing (2) is formed on the wheel hub. A hardened irregular portion (5) is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the wheel hub (1). The wheel hub 1 and the outer joint member (14) are integrally connected via plastic deformation of a fitting portion (17b) of the outer joint member. The hardened irregular portion (5) bites into the surface of the fitting (17b). A connected portion of the wheel hub and outer joint member has a plastic deformed connection mechanism having an axial pull-out proof force more than 160 kN.

    摘要: A wheel bearing assembly is provided which can suppress brake judder. A film is disposed between the brake rotor-mounting surface of the wheel mounting flange and an abutment surface of a brake rotor to fill a gap therebetween to suppress the deformation of the brake rotor. Also, by concentrating the contact force between the wheel-mounting flange and the brake rotor when a disc wheel of the wheel is tightened to the hub bolts to a portion near the hub bolts, the contact between the wheel-mounting flange and the brake rotor on the surfaces between the hub bolts is suppressed so that undulation of the flat surfaces between the hub bolts will not cause deformation of the brake rotor.
