    摘要: A drive wheel bearing device is provided with an outer member, an inner member, double-row rolling elements and a constant velocity joint. The inner member includes double-row inner races opposite outer races of the outer member, a first inner member, and a second inner member formed with at least one of the double-row inner races, the first inner member and the second inner member being inseparably coupled together at a flange-like swaged portion. The constant velocity joint includes an outer joint member press-fitted to an inner periphery of the first inner member with torque transmission means formed therebetween that transmits torque by engagement of a plurality of axially extending teeth, wherein the torque transmitting teeth of the first inner member have a tooth profile that is controlled within a specified range over the entire axial length of the teeth.

    摘要: A wheel bearing includes a sealing device 5 positioned between inner and outer members 1 and 2. This sealing device 5 includes an elastic member 14, which eventually forms an encoder grid and is provided on a first annular sealing plate 11. A second annular sealing plate 12 is provided with sealing lips 16a to 16c. An engagement 18 between a cylindrical wall 11a of the first annular sealing plate 11 and the inner member 1 is provided with an elastic member 20 made of a material dissimilar to that for the elastic material 14. This elastic member 20 may be a rubber coated layer, resin paint layer, a thin film of adhesive material or a ring-shaped rubber member. Thereby, any possible ingress of water across an engagement surface of the annular sealing plate is prevented, accompanied by increase of the lifetime of the bearing, with no problem associated with separation and displacement of the annular sealing plates. The magnetic flux density can also be easily secured.

    摘要: A wheel bearing includes a sealing device 5 positioned between inner and outer members 1 and 2.     摘要: A piston rod position detecting mechanism is proposed which can detect continuously or in a multiple-point manner that the piston rod position has changed due to increase or decrease in the protruding amount of the piston rod due to aging. The protruding amount from a cylinder end wall is detected by a position detecting mechanism comprising a detecting coil housed in a bobbin provided at the cylinder end, a flange portion formed on the piston rod, and a coil spring. Also, an autotensioner and an electromagnetic valve with such a position detector are proposed. Further, a belt tension adjusting device is provided with a detector for detecting the position of a tension pulley which is pivotable with increase or decrease in the belt tension.

    摘要: A wheel bearing unit is provided in which the service life level is improved without making the size and weight of the bearing unduly large. The wheel bearing unit for rotatably supporting a car wheel on the body of a motor vehicle comprises a rotary member, an outer ring, and double rows of rolling elements. The rotary member comprises a hub wheel to which a car wheel is attached and an inner ring press-fitted to the outer circumference of the smaller end face of the hub wheel, wherein double rows of raceway surfaces are formed in the outer circumferential surfaces of the hub wheel and the inner ring, respectively. The outer ring has double rows of raceway surfaces formed therein so as to be opposite to the raceway surfaces of the hub wheel and the inner ring, and is fixedly coupled to a car-body-side knuckle. The double rows of rolling elements are interposed between the raceway surfaces of the hub wheel, the inner ring, and the outer ring. In this construction, at least the hub wheel and the inner ring are each made of a carbon steel containing 0.60 to 0.80 wt % of carbon, and a surface hardened layer is formed in the predetermined area thereof by a high-frequency quenching technique.
