摘要: Disclosed herein is a recording apparatus including a control device which controls a transportation of a medium by controlling a feeding device and a transporting device; under the control of the control device, the feeding device is stopped or decelerated when a previous medium is transported to a predetermined position, and a next medium is accelerated by the feeding device so as to continuously transport the previous medium and the next medium when a gap between those becomes a predetermined distance, the speed of the transporting device is changed from a first transporting speed to a second transporting speed when the previous medium passes through the predetermined position, under a condition that the first transporting speed of the previous medium is different from the second transporting speed of the next medium by the feeding device.

摘要: The present invention provides an acoustic echo canceler for use in a telephone set having a handsfree conversation function. This acoustic echo canceler simultaneously achieves both the stabilization and speedup of an estimation operation and also attains the more improvement of speech quality. Moreover, the present invention provides a handsfree telephone set employing this acoustic echo canceler. Furthermore, this acoustic echo canceler is operative to cancel an echo generated by inputting an output of an acoustic device to itself substantially simultaneously with the outputting the output thereof. Further, this acoustic echo canceler comprises an adaptive filter for performing an operation of estimating the frequency characteristic and the phase characteristic of a part, whose frequency characteristic and phase characteristic vary, on an acoustic path and a fixed coefficient filter for simulating a part, whose frequency characteristic and phase characteristic are fixed, on the acoustic path.

摘要: To reduce the magnetic flux leakage through the gap between magnetic pole teeth of an armature so as to reduce the magnetic attraction force generated between the armature and a needle, an armature unit is provided with two magnetic poles, on the top of which are magnetic pole teeth protruding toward the opposing magnetic pole, where the magnetic pole teeth of the magnetic pole are arranged at two heights, upper and lower, and the magnetic pole teeth of the opposing magnetic pole are arranged at two heights, upper and lower, so that the magnetic flux flows upward and downward alternately between the upper and lower magnetic pole teeth. The needle equipped with permanent magnets moves relatively in the gap between the upper and lower magnetic pole surfaces of the armature unit.

摘要: When a digital broadcast receiver selects a channel and thereby changes an MPEG picture stream, a video decoder starts a decoding operation in response to an instruction to start decoding. When a predictive coded picture includes an intra slice and an intra macroblock, the video decoder decodes the intra slice and the intra macroblock of the predictive coded picture without waiting for an intra picture to be decoded. When a macroblock to be referred to has previously been decoded, the video decoder further decodes a non-intra slice and a non-intra macroblock of the predictive coded picture by using a decoding result of the macroblock to be referred to. Thus, when changing the channel, for example, it is possible to quickly obtain output picture data, shorten interruption of the pictures, and check a picture of the next channel in a short time.

摘要: In a demultiplexer, picture signals of channels included in an input transport stream are separated from each other and supplied to VBV buffers for the respective channels to be stored therein. Picture signals read out from the VBV buffers are supplied to a signal switch for selecting one of the signals in accordance with a switch changeover signal generated by a switch controller. The selected picture signals selected from the VBV buffers are supplied to a variable-length decoder for decoding the signals on a time-division basis. Decoded picture data of a channel is selected by another signal switch in accordance with another switch changeover signal generated by the switch controller and supplied to one of picture memories for the channel to be stored therein. A display controller reads out a plurality of picture signals from the picture memories synchronously in accordance with a display timing signal generated by a display controller. As a result, a plurality of pieces of encoded data can be decoded by using only one decoding system.

The echo canceler has a basic structure includes a power control section controlling a power for a speech reception voice, a first filtering section removing a particular component from an output of the power control section, an echo canceling section removing echo components of a speech reception voice, which are added to a speech transmission voice, a second filtering section filtering particular components of the speech reception and transmission voices, and a state judgement section judging existences of the speech reception and transmission voices from an output of the second filtering section and controlling a power attenuation amount of the power control section based on the judgement result.

摘要: A data compressing circuit to compress an amount of data which is stored into an image memory is provided at the front stage of the image memory which is used for a motion compensation prediction. A data decompressing circuit to return the compression data read out from the image memory to the original data is provided at the post stage of the image memory. Since the image data is compressed when reference image data is stored into the image memory which is used for motion compensation prediction, a capacity of the image memory is reduced. In this instance, since the compression of the image data is independently performed on a unit basis of a DCT block layer, it can be matched with a DCT block and successive processes can be performed.
