    摘要: A method of manufacturing a decorative article, including a first coating formation step of forming a first coating of primarily TiN on a substrate; a second coating formation step of forming a second coating on the first coating by means of a dry plating method using a target containing 70.0 wt %≦85.0 wt % Au and 15.0 wt %≦30.0 wt % Cu; a heat treatment step of promoting formation of a solid solution of the constituents of the second coating by applying a heating process that heats the substrate on which the first coating and the second coating are disposed to 300° C.≦395° C. and then applying a cooling process; and an acid treatment step that, of the constituents of the second coating to which the heating process was applied, removes the constituents not forming a solid solution by applying an acid treatment.

    摘要: It is the subject of the present invention to provide a solvent-free ambient-temperature curable composition, excellent in water-resistant adhesion, storage stability and curability, and generates neither smoke nor odor when working therewith. The relevant problem is solved by a curable composition including (A) a natural asphalt and/or petroleum asphalt, (B) a polyoxyalkylene polymer having one or more reactive silicon groups capable of cross-linking by forming siloxane bonds through silanol condensation reaction.

    摘要: A decorative article 1A for a timepiece or the like is provided having a superior aesthetic appearance that can be maintained over a long period of time. The decorative article 1A has a substrate 2 wherein at least part of the surface vicinity is primarily configured from Ti and/or stainless steel, a first coat 3 formed on the substrate 2, and a second coat 4 formed on the first coat 3. The first coat 3 is configured primarily from TiCN, and the combined C content and N content in the first coat 3 is 5 to 30 wt %. The second coat 4 is configured primarily from M (where M is one or more elements selected from Ti, Pt, Pd, and In). The average thickness of the first coat 3 is 1.6 to 5 μm. The average thickness of the second coat 4 is 0.15 to 0.5 μm.

    摘要: Proposed is a novel method for the formation of a protective coating film having a pencil hardness of up to 9 H on the surface of various substrates or, in particular, electronic parts such as color filters and liquid crystal display panels. The method comprises: coating the surface with a liquid coating composition of which the principal ingredient is a partial cohydrolysis-condensation product of a tetraalkoxy silane, e.g., tetraethoxy silane, and a functional alkoxy silane, e.g., 3-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy silane, and drying and heating the coating layer to effect complete curing. The hardness of the cured protective film can be increased by admixing the liquid coating composition with a finely divided inorganic filler such as a colloidal silica. It is optional that the functional alkoxy silane is subjected to the cohydrolysis reaction after it is polymerized alone or after it is copolymerized with a polyfunctional acrylic monomer.
