When the lining (23) wears away and the amount of movement of the sleeve (56) increases, the sleeve (56) is rotated by reciprocal action with a drive ring (62) that is engaged with the periphery of the sleeve and, thereby, the pressing screw (57) screwed thereon comes out by the amount of the increase of movement (the amount of wear on the lining). A flat surface (56c) is formed on the periphery of the sleeve and the detecting head (80) of the displacement detection apparatus detects the rotation of the sleeve (56).

    摘要: A rotary cylinder for controlling operations of a chuck to be used on a lathe or the like. The rotary cylinder comprises a housing, a cylinder unit, a distributor supporting the cylinder unit in bearings fitted therein, and a seizure detecting system including a detaining mechanism for restraining the distributor from rotation relative to the housing. The seizure detecting system detects seizure between the distributor and the cylinder unit and allows the distributor to rotate relative to the housing. The distributor is capable of being fixedly held on the housing without distorting the bearings supporting the cylinder unit and of being disconnected from the housing when seizure occurs between the distributor and the cylinder unit.

    摘要: A pin contact of a connector and a method of fabricating the pin contact which enables a substantial decrease of manufacturing cost, and smooth installation of the pin connector without a change in the pitch of arrangement at the time of press-fitting into a pin housing. A flat metal sheet undergoes blanking and pressing to form a narrow piece including a strip portion of decreased area of a fracture. Then an approximately L-shaped connecting portion is bent at right angles to raise the narrow piece sideways. Thereafter the strip portion of the narrow piece is pressed along the direction of rising, to thereby form an approximately cylindrical contact section. A raised piece at the rear of the contact section is provided with a locking section which faces approximately at right angles with the direction of arrangement.

    摘要: There are provided a connector capable of accomplishing electrical stability between contact members constituting the connector and a base, reduction in manufacturing cost, and simplicity in assembly and a method of manufacturing the connector. A base 11 comprises a plurality of bump portions 22 extending from the bonding surface, which contact members are bonded to, toward the opposite surface, and an insulating layer interposed between the bump portions 22. The contact members 23 are bonded to the bump portions 22. Accordingly, since the contact members 23 can be surface-mounted on the base 11, it is possible to enhance the electrical stability between the contact members 23 and the base 11.
