    摘要: In a direct injection internal combustion engine, a stratification combustion condition, a homogeneous combustion condition and an intermediate combustion condition which is intermediate the stratification combustion and the homogeneous combustion conditions are controlled selectively according to an operation condition of at least one selected from a combustion condition, an output condition of the engine and an acceleration condition of a vehicle. Without defeating an intended low fuel consumption operation, the engine operates to obtain a reduction of harmful exhaust gas. As a result, by assuring the low fuel consumption operation, an improvement in combustion stability and smoke reduction can both be realized.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling the idling engine speed of an automobile engine comprises: an engine speed sensor for detecting an engine speed; a control unit for calculating a difference between an actual engine speed detected by the sensor and a targeted idling engine speed preset in accordance with the operating conditions of the engine, for judging whether or not a power steering system is being operated to a point close to an operatable limit thereof when the automobile is at a standstill, and for outputting a signal for increasing by a predetermined value a gain of a proportional term for proportional-integral type feedback control employed in controlling the idling engine speed if judgment is made that the power steering system is being operated to a point close to the operatable limit thereof when the automobile is at a standstill; and an ISC valve for adjusting a flow rate of air supplied to the engine in accordance with a signal output by the control unit.

    摘要: In an electromagnetic fuel injection valve of the axial flow type, a tubular member with both its ends open is disposed in a penetration path that is formed in a stationary core, and an area is sealed between the outer periphery of the tubular member on the side of nozzle and the inner periphery of the penetration path. Further, the path formed between the tubular member and the penetration path is communicated with fuel space formed around the outer periphery of the stationary core.     摘要: An engine rotation speed control system which comprises an actuator for prescribing the recovery position of a throttle valve, a recovery position sensor for detecting that the throttle valve is returned to the recovery position, an idle speed control unit for controlling the engine to a predetermined idling speed, and a negative pressure restricting unit for controlling the throttle actuator such that reduction in intake negative pressure to below a predetermined negative pressure is prevented. When the throttle valve returns to the recovery position with the engine speed in excess of an upper limit of the idling speed, the actuator is controlled by the negative pressure restricting unit. When the engine speed falls below the upper limit, the idle speed control unit is actuated. Upon engine starting the actuator is set such that the opening degree of the throttle valve suitable for the engine starting is obtained before the starter starts operating.
