摘要: Systems and methods are described herein for determining whether cardiac conduction system pacing therapy may be beneficial and/or determining how proximal or distal a cardiac conduction system block may be using external cardiac signals. To do so, one or more left-sided metrics of electrical heterogeneity information may be generated based on left-sided surrogate cardiac electrical measured using a plurality of left external electrodes.

摘要: A system and method for physiological data classification for use in facilitating diagnosis is provided. A physiological monitor includes a feedback button and physiological data obtained via the physiological monitor is stored in a database. The physiological data is divided into segments and one or more data segments are classified as noise. A determination is made that at least one of the data segments classified as noise includes a marker indicating a press of the feedback button on the physiological monitor. A set of the physiological data including and surrounding the physiological data occurring during the press of the feedback button is identified within the data segment classified as noise. The identified set of physiological data is provided with the data segments classified as valid for analysis.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses, including devices and systems, for remote and detection and/or diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In particular, described herein are handheld devices having an electrode configuration capable of recording three orthogonal ECG lead signals in an orientation-specific manner, and transmitting these signals to a processor. The processor may be remote or local, and it may automatically or semi-automatically detect AMI, atrial fibrillation or other heart disorders based on the analyses of the deviation of the recorded 3 cardiac signals with respect to previously stored baseline recordings.

摘要: The invention provides a neck-worn sensor (referred to herein as the ‘necklace’) that is a single, body-worn system that measures the following parameters from an ambulatory patient: heart rate, pulse rate, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate, temperature, thoracic fluid levels, stroke volume, cardiac output, and a parameter sensitive to blood pressure called pulse transit time. From stroke volume, a first algorithm employing a linear model can estimate the patient's pulse pressure. And from pulse pressure and pulse transit time, a second algorithm, also employing a linear algorithm, can estimate systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Thus, the necklace can measure all five vital signs along with hemodynamic parameters. It also includes a motion-detecting accelerometer, from which it can determine motion-related parameters such as posture, degree of motion, activity level, respiratory-induced heaving of the chest, and falls.
