Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining, by a system comprising a processor, a driver profile according to a driver identity for a driver of a vehicle, selecting a driver-specific enforcement scenario for the vehicle according to the driver profile and traffic enforcement information that is associated with a vehicle location, and presenting an in-vehicle alert to convey the driver-specific enforcement scenario to the driver. Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe systems, methods, and devices for automated vehicular control based on glare detected by an optical system of a vehicle. In some aspects, automated control includes controlling the operation of the vehicle itself, a vehicle subsystem, or a vehicle component based on a level of glare detected. According to some examples, controlling the operation of a vehicle includes instructing an automatically or manually operated vehicle to traverse a selected route based on levels of glare detected or expected along potentials routes to a destination. According to other examples, controlling operation of a vehicle subsystem or a vehicle component includes triggering automated responses by the subsystem or the component based on a level of glare detected or expected. In some additional aspects, glare data is shared between individual vehicles and with a remote data processing system for further analysis and action.

According to the invention, the diagnostic method comprises steps during which: a) the computer identifies an infrastructure and assigns it an effective score, which relates to the visibility of this infrastructure, b) the remote server acquires a reference score which is assigned to the said infrastructure and which relates to the visibility of this infrastructure, and c) the effective score and the reference score are compared so as to deduce from this a state of operation of the sensor.

Abstract: A controller for managing data demand to and from an asset is described. In particular, the controller is configured to obtain streams of local data from one or more local data sources, said local data providing local information of a current condition of the asset. Once received, the controller determines one or more potential future conditions of the asset based on the current condition of the asset and on changes in the local data. A bandwidth requirement is then determined to obtain streams of remote data from one or more remote data sources potentially relevant to the one or more potential future conditions. This bandwidth requirement is then compared to an available bandwidth; and a priority order determined for obtaining the remote data if the available bandwidth is below the bandwidth requirement.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a traffic information estimation device and a traffic information estimation method for estimating a time period of switching of a traffic signal display. The traffic information estimation device includes: an acquisition unit (203) acquiring arrangement information indicating an arrangement of vehicles in accordance with a time passage on a road on which a traffic signal is installed; a determination unit (205) determining changes in density of the vehicles by using the arrangement information; and a calculation unit (206) calculating a display change cycle indicating a time period of switching of a display of the traffic signal based on a time interval between the changes in density of the vehicles. According to such a configuration, it is possible to simplify processing to estimate of a change cycle of the traffic signal.
