Abstract: A polyester film and a method for manufacturing the polyester film are provided. The method for manufacturing a polyester film by using a recycled plastic material includes the following steps. A part of the recycled plastic material is physically reproduced to obtain a physically regenerated polyester resin. Another part of the recycled plastic material is chemically reproduced to obtain a chemically regenerated polyester resin. A polyester composition including the physically regenerated polyester resin and the chemically regenerated polyester resin is prepared. Based on a total weight of the polyester composition being 100 wt %, a weight of the chemically regenerated polyester resin is larger than or equal to 5 wt %. The polyester film is manufactured by using the polyester composition. Based on a total weight of the polyester film being 100 wt %, a total amount of the physically regenerated polyester resin and the chemically regenerated polyester resin is from 10 wt % to 100 wt %.

Abstract: A black polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The black polyester film includes a physically recycled polyester resin and a chemically recycled polyester resin. The physically recycled polyester resin is formed by a plurality of physically recycled polyester chips. The chemically recycled polyester resin is formed by a plurality of chemically recycled polyester chips and mixed with the physically recycled polyester resin. The plurality of chemically recycled polyester chips further include chemically recycled electrostatic pinning polyester chips. The chemically recycled electrostatic pinning polyester chips contain electrostatic pinning additives, and the electrostatic pinning additives are metal salts. Expressed in percent by weight based on a total weight of the polyester film, a content of the electrostatic pinning additives in the polyester film is between 0.005% and 0.1% by weight. The black polyester film further includes a black additive.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a polyester film for embossing that is made from a recycled polyester material. A part of the recycled polyester material is physically reproduced to obtain physically regenerated polyester chips. The physically regenerated polyester chips include physically regenerated regular polyester chips. Another part of the recycled polyester material is chemically reproduced to obtain chemically regenerated polyester chips. The chemically regenerated polyester chips include chemically regenerated regular polyester chips and chemically regenerated electrostatic pinning polyester chips. The physically regenerated polyester chips and the chemically regenerated polyester chips are mixed to form a base material. The base material is used to form a base layer that having a main component of regenerated polyethylene terephthalate. A surface coating layer is formed onto the base layer. A material of the surface coating layer includes a main resin, fillers, and melamine.

Abstract: A white polyester film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The method for manufacturing the white polyester film includes: providing a recycled polyester material; physically regenerating a part of the recycled polyester material to form physically regenerated polyester chips having a first intrinsic viscosity; chemically regenerating another part of the recycled polyester material to form chemically regenerated polyester chips having a second intrinsic viscosity less than the first intrinsic viscosity; mixing white regenerated polyester chips, the physically regenerated polyester chips, and the chemically regenerated polyester chips according to a predetermined intrinsic viscosity so as to form a polyester masterbatch material; melting and extruding the polyester masterbatch material to obtain the white polyester film having the predetermined intrinsic viscosity.

Abstract: A recyclable retort pouch and a recyclable retort polyester film thereof are provided. The recyclable retort polyester film includes a heat seal layer and at least one polyester layer. The heat seal layer is composed of isophthalic acid, neopentyl glycol, polybutylene terephthalate, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and polyethylene terephthalate-1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol ester. The polyester layer is formed on the heat seal layer, and is composed of a polyester composition. The polyester composition includes a polyester resin made from recycled PET bottle flakes processed by physical or chemical methods and the polyester resin has an inherent viscosity between 0.62 dl/g and 1.0 dl/g. The recyclable retort pouch is made of the recyclable retort polyester film.

Abstract: A biaxially oriented polyester film having the following physical property is provided: when cooled from the molten state at a cooling rate of 20° C/min, an observed recrystallization temperature is 175° C-200° C. The biaxially oriented polyester film is formed by a thick sheet before bidirectional stretching that is melted and extruded by an extruder and then cooled and formed on a casting roll. The thick sheet before stretching having the following physical property as analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry: a crystallization rate is less than 10%.
