摘要: The delay of delay circuit 10 is set within a predetermined range, and, in a stop mode, the clock pulses of 1 cycle of clock signal φin when transition is made from the stop mode to the DLL mode are excluded from the object detected by phase detector 20 such that phase difference Δφ′ detected by phase detector 20 is within a prescribed range when said transition is performed. As a result, it is possible to lock the delay of clock signal φdin with respect to clock signal φin at a desired value (e.g., “2π”), and it is possible to prevent locking to an undesired abnormal state.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal layer which is arranged between first and second aligning films formed on inner sides of first and second substrates, has liquid crystal molecules twist-aligned in a direction from the first aligning film toward the second aligning film when an electric field is not applied between first and second electrodes, and generates retardation of substantially λ/2 with respect to transmitted light. First and second polarizing plates are arranged on outer sides of the first and second substrates. A Transmission axis or an absorption axis of the first polarizing plate is substantially matched with a direction along which the liquid crystal molecules in the vicinity of the first aligning film are aligned when a sufficiently intensive electric field is applied.

摘要: When pixel signals are separately read from a plurality of horizontal signal lines to achieve high-speed processing, color difference in image signals and stripes are eliminated. In the operation of reading the pixel signals from the (2n)th row, the pixel signals from R pixels on odd columns are output to an output system A through a horizontal signal line (60A). On the other hand, the pixel signals from Gr pixels on even columns are output to an output system B through a horizontal signal line (60B). In the operation of reading the pixel signals from the (2n+1)th row, the pixel signals from Gb pixels on the odd columns are output to the output system B through the horizontal signal line (60B) by the switching operation in a switching circuit (50). Similarly, the pixel signals from B pixels on the even columns are output to the output system A through the horizontal signal line (60A) by the switching operation in the switching circuit (50).

摘要: The invention provides optical technique for measuring metabolism in a living body that can further reduce an error in measurement even if distance between irradiation and detection is fixed. The living body is classified into measurement regions and different measuring wavelengths are set according to the classification. For example, the head is classified into four regions of a parietal region, a frontal region, a temporal region and an occipital region and a wavelength according to each tissue is set in a wavelength selecting system. In measurement, wavelengths according to each measurement region are selected by multiple wavelengths-light radiating means. Besides, for a region having large personal difference, premeasurement is made using plural combinations of wavelengths and wavelengths are selected using a calculated error in measurement as a criterion.

摘要: An information display terminal allows a user to grasp rapidly and surely the direction to a destination, and can guide the user to the destination without placing a burden on the user. The information display terminal is provided at a passage, and its display screen displays a route guidance screen that guides a route to the destination. The route guidance screen displays a pseudo-action image that shows the walking motion, and a destination display information image indicating a destination name such as “Subway Ticket Gate”. The action image shows the motion of walking toward the destination, but the display position does not change. The destination display information image is displayed in front of the action image in the advancing direction.
