摘要： Linen treatment compositions and linen processes are disclosed which help to prevent iron deposition from wash water, and/or redeposition after iron containing stain (such as blood) removal by alkaline detergents. The linen treatment composition is a combination of a hydroxycarboxylic acid and an acid source, which may be organic or inorganic. The invention provides for effective iron control in a phosphorus-free formula that is also free of toxic or hazardous chemicals and includes sustainable, environmentally friendly ingredients, while still providing effective iron control.

Such a surfactant system results in surprisingly better dissolution of the diaminostilbene brightener in water.

摘要： The invention relates to compositions, methods of use, and methods of manufacture for an intercalated bleach compound and compositions thereof. The intercalated bleach compound has the formula Mx(OCl)y(O)m(OH)n where M is an alkaline earth metal such as magnesium, calcium or mixture thereof. The values of x and y independently equal any number greater than or equal to 1 (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), and m and n independently equal any number greater than or equal to 0 (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.), but m and n are not both 0. In addition, the molar ratio of the alkaline earth metal (e.g., magnesium or calcium) to hypochlorite is at least 3:1. In other words, x is ≧3y. The compounds exhibit excellent stability, little or no chlorine bleach odor, exhibit excellent pH buffering characteristics, and less reactivity with organic materials as compared to alternative chlorine bleach products.

摘要： Fabric care compositions comprising bi-modal water continuous emulsions are disclosed. In particular, the fabric care compositions comprise a bi-modal water continuous emulsion (E) comprising at least 70 weight percent of: a first dispersed phase containing a hydrophobic oil, wherein the hydrophobic oil is provided as a non-emulsified hydrophobic oil, and a second dispersed phase containing a silicone, wherein the silicone is provided from a water continuous silicone emulsion containing at least one surfactant. The fabric care compositions further comprise at least one fabric care ingredient (F). Optionally, the fabric care ingredient (F) is in an acceptable medium. Preparation methods and uses of the fabric care compositions are also disclosed.
