Abstract:
The web frame is a bonded assembly of panels and porous blanket layers, separated by an arrangement of isolated spacers. The panels and spacers are covered with a bonding means. A coating covers inner surfaces of the panels and spacers. The porous blanket is compressed and pinned between these panels, by spacers that are arranged as isolated nodes or columns The spacers have sharpened ends that penetrate the blanket and connect with the opposing panel. The web frame assembly provides thermal and sound insulation for buildings and other solid objects. These web frames are lightweight, durable, and permeable. Capillaries and passages throughout the panels and fibres of the blanket allow passage of moisture and air, thereby assisting in the management of condensation within the web frame.
Abstract:
A building board is finished in a first processing station via laterally operating processing means, where-in a first edge strip is glued along a first edge side of body element of the building board. In a second processing station a primary surface layer is glued, by vertically operating processing means, to cover the entire primary main side and the primary side of the first edge stripe. Thereafter, a vertical pressure is applied over the body element and the first edge stripe across a working direction while the body element and the first edge stripe pass the second processing station in such a manner that a primary side of the first edge stripe is brought in level with a primary main side of the body element when passing the second processing station.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a panel, in particular a wall-, ceiling or floor-panel, comprising a carrier layer (71) with a front side and a rear side, wherein the carrier layer (71) comprises at least at its front side as seen from the front side the following layers: a primer layer (72); a decor layer (73), comprising a polymerizable print color; and a polymer layer (74), which preferably comprises a hardness gradient.
Abstract:
A wallboard panel support may include a base support member having two upwardly extending sidewalls which receive the lower end of the wallboard panel and space the lower end of the wallboard panel above a floor of a building. A method for installing a wallboard panel in a building may include attaching a wallboard panel support to the lower end of a wallboard panel, moving the wallboard panel attached to the wallboard panel support to a location in a building adjacent a stud, placing the wallboard panel against the stud, and securing the wallboard panel to the stud.
Abstract:
A panel for a surface covering system of a plurality of like panels, the panel comprising: a base layer; a first joint extrusion attached along a first edge of the base layer; a second joint extrusion attached along a second edge of the base layer, opposite the first edge; a covering layer covering at least part of the first joint extrusion and at least part of the second joint extrusion; wherein the first extrusion is configured to join to a second extrusion of an adjacent like panel, and the covering layer substantially conceals the first extrusion and the second extrusion when installed.
Abstract:
An outdoor wall padding apparatus attachable to a vertical structure includes an upper padding section, and a lower drainage section disposed below the upper padding section. The outdoor wall padding apparatus is attachable to the vertical structure with the lower drainage section positionable adjacent to the ground and operable to allow water to pass into and out of the lower drainage section.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an architectural decoration panel dry-hang structure free in mounting-dismounting and flexible in size combination, wherein the architectural decoration panel dry-hang structure is provided with a vertical keel frame fixed on a wall surface, a transverse skeleton nut is disposed inside a vertical keel frame mounting groove on the vertical keel frame, the transverse skeleton nut is of a rectangle shape and has two opposite curved angles, a transverse skeleton is located outside the vertical keel frame, a transverse skeleton screw is screwed with the transverse skeleton nut after traversing the transverse skeleton, and the curved angles of the transverse skeleton nut lean against the side wall of the vertical keel frame mounting groove; and a coupling assembly disposed at the back of an architectural decoration panel component is inserted in a transverse skeleton mounting groove provided for the transverse skeleton so that the architectural decoration panel component is hung on the transverse skeleton. The present invention realizes high security, simple structure, convenient and quick mounting, environment protection and free of contamination of an architectural decoration panel mounting structure, and saving the cost.
Abstract:
A masonry siding for use on a wall is provided comprising one or more layers for creating masonry siding; and one or more strategically positioned inserts embedded within the one or more layers allowing to secure the masonry siding on a wall. The inserts are positioned in a mold in order to allow for the securing of the masonry siding to a wall or building structure, by screwing a bolt or other similar device through the insert, which runs along the width of the masonry siding. The bolt or screw is then completely hidden from view as it penetrates the front face of the insert completely. A method is also provided for manufacturing a masonry siding with inserts to secure the masonry siding to a wall by providing steps to create the masonry siding from a mold with the inserts within the mold.
Abstract:
Reinforced boards and/or walls, and methods of producing thereof. In some non-limiting examples, there is provided a reinforced gypsum board and a process for the production thereof. In one example, the reinforced board may include one or more reinforcing elements, e.g., to enhance the rigidity of the board and/or to provide support for the board.
Abstract:
A method comprises: providing a fiber cement substrate, and joining a porous, closed cell foam to a substantial portion of a major surface of the fiber cement substrate.
