The styrene-butadiene rubber of this disclosure is an emulsion-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber synthesizable via emulsion polymerization, comprising at a terminal: a modified functional group containing a nitrogen atom and having an SP value of 9.55 or less; or a modified functional group containing a hydroxyl group and having an SP value of less than 15.00, where the SP values are solubility parameters obtained with a Fedors method.

摘要: Elastomer compositions comprising uncured elastomer and reclaimed elastomer are described. In one embodiment, the compositions comprise reclaimed elastomer material (micronized rubber powder) of broad particle size distribution, which is less expensive than traditional reclaimed elastomer material with narrow particle size distribution. Further, compositions comprising reclaimed elastomer materials with broad particle size distribution perform comparably to those comprising reclaimed elastomer materials with narrow particle size distribution. In other embodiments, the compositions comprise both vulcanized and devulcanized elastomer materials. Advantageously, by using a combination of vulcanized and devulcanized material, it is possible to incorporate a greater percentage by weight of reclaimed material in to an elastomer composition, thus providing additional cost savings while maintaining high levels of mechanical properties. Further, the use of the reclaimed material reduces landfill waste resulting in a more environmentally friendly product.

摘要: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition [X] for reduction of squeaking noises containing a rubber-reinforced vinyl resin [A] obtained by polymerizing a vinyl monomer [b1] in the presence of an ethylene-α-olefin rubber polymer [a1] having Tm (melting point) of 0° C. or higher, wherein an amount of silicon contained in the thermoplastic resin composition [X] is 0.15% by mass or less based on 100% by mass of the thermoplastic resin composition [X]. According to the present invention, a structure can be provided, which is characterized in that squeaking noises that are generated when members rub against each other is remarkably reduced, that an effect of reducing squeaking noises is maintained without deterioration even when placed under high temperature for a long time, and that impact resistance and molded appearance are superior.
