    Abstract: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable polyester film roll containing a paper tube and a heat-shrinkable polyester film wound around the paper tube to form the heat-shrinkable polyester film roll, wherein (1) the film winding length is 2000-20000 m, (2) the film width is 400-2500 mm, (3) the film thickness is 5-30 μm, (4) unevenness in thickness in the film widthwise direction in a film roll surface layer part is 12% or less, (5) the paper tube has an inner diameter of 3 inches, a difference in clearance of the paper tube in a widthwise direction after removal of the film from the film roll is 0.5 mm or less, and a flat compressive strength of the paper tube after removal of the film is 1700 N/100 mm or more, and (6) the average value of winding hardness in the widthwise direction in the film roll surface layer part is 500-850.

    Abstract: Provided are a heat-shrinkable label and a package each having solvent bonded-portion where solvent penetration-through is not caused even when the film is thin. Provided are particularly a heat-shrinkable label and a package each having solvent bonded-portion gaining a high peel strength stability even when the film is passed through a tubing step made high in speed. A heat-shrinkable label has a tubular shape, in which both end portions of a heat-shrinkable polyvinyl chloride-based film or a heat-shrinkable polystyrene-based film are bonded to each other with a solvent composition. The solvent composition contains at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of tetrahydrofuran (THF), methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and ethyl acetate, and at least one resin selected from the group consisting of polyester, polypropylene and hydrogenated petroleum resin, and the end portion bonded has a peel strength of 2 N/15 mm or more.

    Abstract: Provided are a heat-shrinkable polyester-based label, and a package which each have a solvent-bonded portion where no solvent permeation-through is caused even when a film of the label is small in thickness. Provided are, in particular, a heat-shrinkable polyester-based label and a package which each have a solvent-bonded portion giving a high peel strength stably even through a high-speed tubing step, or even when the film is a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film in which a PET-bottle-recycled material is used in a large proportion. The label is a heat-shrinkable polyester-based label that is a tubular label in which both end portions of a heat-shrinkable polyester-based film are bonded to each other with a solvent composition. In this label, the solvent composition is a solvent composition containing at least 1,3-dioxolane and/or tetrahydrofuran (THF), and a polyester, and the end portion bonded has a peel strength of 2 N/15 mm or more.

    Abstract: The invention provides a heat shrinkable polyester film which has (1) a hot-water heat shrinkage of not less than 55% and not more than 90% in a main shrinking direction of the film when dipped in hot water at 98° C.; (2) a hot-water heat shrinkage of not less than −5% and not more than 12% in a direction orthogonal to the main shrinking direction of the film when dipped in hot water at 98° C.; (3) a difference in specific heat capacity ΔCp between at a lower and a higher temperature than Tg of not less than 0.1 J/(g·° C.) and not more than 0.7 J/(g·° C.) when a reverse heat flow is measured with a temperature modulated DSC; and (4) a tensile breaking strength of not less than 70 MPa and not more than 150 MPa in the direction orthogonal to the main shrinking direction of the film.
